i bought this tv for my son, who plays a decent amount of video games. he says the picture is awesome. his last tv he wouldnt even play on. every tv in my house is samsung. i haven’t regretted it yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

got this tv as a gift and couldn’t be happeir! crystal clear picture, great sound, slim design and awesome stand that comes with it. does not take up much space at all for the size that it is. very happy!

LIVE TV AND CLEAR BOLD COLOR

it was easy to set upand i like the live like picture and the color is so crisp bold and vivid but the remote control is a little confusing. a birthday early xmas gift from my kids just got it a couple of day ago still have to learn it.

great tv for the price. bright, sharp picture. speakers aren't outstanding but i use a soundbar anyway. the tizen ui isn't the most attractive but it operates fine. my only real negative is the remote. it's too small and there's no backlight. other than that i'm happy with this tv.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the tv looks great, sounds great for bedroom, has amazing options that allow you to do anything with a high quality samsung phone! what a convenient tv that looks amazing and has a fantastic picture!

Too smart for it's own good

the auto-detect connected devices function seems like a great idea, until it isn't. i love the size and almost all features about my new samsung 85" au8000, but it doesn't recognize by son's nintendo switch when connected. it also has trouble playing the sound on movies and shows on disney+, and netflix through the apple tv that is connected to it. these same shows and movies work fine on the same apple tv and the nintendo switch works fine when both are connected to my older samsung tv without the "smart auto-detect" function when connecting devices via hdmi. major oversight in programming.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You may want to follow these troubleshooting steps to check your connection.

1) Power off all HDMI devices connected to TV
2) Disconnect all HDMI cables from TV
3) Power off and unplug the TV's power cord from the wall outlet
4) Press and hold the TV power button for 30 seconds
5) Reconnect HDMI cables back to HDMI ports on TV
6) Re-plug the TV's power cord back into the wall outlet and check the TV.

You may also want to ensure you are running the latest firmware (v.1901.1). You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update. If you are still experiencing issues after the troubleshooting steps, please contact us so we can better understand the problems you are experiencing and provide you with additional troubleshooting assistance.
