Its not the BEST but its decent.

tv quality is ok my uled tv had better picture quality. my samsung soundbar & woofer which is bluetooth compatible doesnt even show up in my device list while im trying to connect it
to my tv, but my sirusxm from my truck does which is super weird. ive watched videos on how to get jt to connect still no luck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung 85" AU8000 and for sharing your review. Your experience regarding the picture quality and connection to your Samsung soundbar is important to us and will be shared with our product teams.

Your TV has several Picture Modes to choose from allowing you to enjoy content in optimal conditions. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

We recommend using a wired connection rather than using Bluetooth. For the best sound quality and performance, connect your soundbar with a Digital Audio Out (Optical) or an HDMI (ARC) cable. HDMI is better if the only external device connected to your TV is your soundbar. Otherwise, Digital Audio Out is usually the better option, depending on your setup.

However, if you prefer to connect using Bluetooth, please keep the following in mind:
- Lip-sync errors may occur.
- You can only pair one Bluetooth TV to a soundbar at a time.
- The TV and Bluetooth device may disconnect, depending on the distance between them.

To connect Bluetooth devices to the TV, they must first be paired using the TV's Bluetooth function. Go to: Settings > Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List

- If the TV fails to find a Bluetooth audio device, place the device closer to the TV, and then select Refresh.
- When you turn on a paired Bluetooth audio device, the TV detects it automatically, and then displays a pop-up window. Use this pop-up window to activate or deactivate the Bluetooth audio device.
- Make sure the device you are trying to connect is in Bluetooth Pairing mode

You may want to check the Connection Guide for detailed information regarding connecting your soundbar. Go to Source > Connection Guide > Audio Device > Bluetooth.

i tried to upload a few seconds of video but they only have the option to share them from youtube, i have several days with it and the experience is incredible, i have noticed the system a little slow but for the rest i recommend it 100%

i have been geeking out on the picture quality. one of the first things i watched on this set was a streaming of fantastic fungi. i was constantly ooing and ahing over the time lapse photography. but that's not all, even an old black and white movie like casablanca looks so much better on this set than it would have on the 13 year old sony that i replaced with this tv.
the smart tv functions all work very well, and it's easy to navigate the menus with the remote. i noticed some reviewers had been unimpressed with the sound. granted, news announcers sound very slightly "tinny," but when watching a movie (including music films) the sound is just fine.
as the title says, i am happy as a clam!

however, i was surprised that you cannot download apps from the web onto the tv. also, when you watch episodes from the web, and you want to change the speed setting to show faster, the sound cuts out. i like watching web episodes faster because there is many things to watch now days. and the normal speed just takes up to much time. i gave my older tv to charity, it did all that. but for the price, i just have to buy a sound bar and a universal remote to be able to do more with this tv.

a good tv, nice picture, and it's nice to have one remote with built in pluto and plex and what have you (i had three remotes before). i have two of these tvs in bedrooms and they're perfect for that, the sound isn't great and the 'start last used app when the tv is turned on' feature doesn't work; it always starts with samsung plus or whatever that is, but the home button makes switching apps and accessing settings very easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!
