beautiful picture but the tv is complicated to use just fining input is hard honestly i wish i could get a non smart tv i have fire sticks and they work way better then the tv apps

To assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of your TV and remote, you can download the AU8000 TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the AU8000 under Crystal UHD TVs > A Model Lineup. The e-Manual is also embedded into the TV itself under Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.

Everything started all good. Until I turned it off

for some reason when i turn off the tv keeps making a clicking noise and sounds like a wasp is trapped inside on the left side of the tv

Thank you for your review of the AU8000 TV. We appreciate you sharing your experience with hearing an odd sound coming from your TV. Abnormal sounds will have different causes depending on where the sound originates from. Is the sound coming from your speakers, or is your TV connected to an external audio device like a soundbar? If so, please make sure that the audio cable is connected to the correct audio output connector on the external device.

For antenna or cable connections, check the Signal Information. A low signal level may cause sound distortions. Go to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information

If the sound is coming from the back of the TV, the expansion and contraction of the TV's outer casing may cause a popping noise. This does not indicate a product malfunction. The TV is safe to use.

You may also want to run a Sound Test by going to :
Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test

My first smart tv

okay for starters, this is my first smart tv. maybe i lived under a rock but this is some star trek stuff. a computer but bigger lot bigger. i can search all the movies and tv shows. yep, i don't need directv or dish, those are going to be obsolete eventually. i do wish the samsung tv would pick up the local tv channels.
the clarity of this tv is great. i feel like i am there. i spent the extra money to go with au8000 instead of au7000.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really impressed with this television! Firstly, the 65 inch is the perfect size for over our fireplace. I like how sleek the remote is, so it looks nice. I also appreciate the picture quality when playing video games - I can pick out details well. I am most impressed by the sound on this TV. I don't own any sort of sound system, but just from this TV it still feels like the sound is thrown around the room. My only bummer to this TV is that I think the main screen can be a little hard to navigate, but I'm also not sure that I can't customize it to fit my needs a little better. Overall, I'm still learning, but would 100% buy this again!

The crystal UHD graphics are so crisp and clear that you can count the pores on the faces of the actors and actresses when they pan in for a face shot. It is so detailed! It also has several modes it automatically switches to depending on the device. Switching to Game Mode really helps the video game graphics pop, enhancing colors ect to optimize the gaming experience. The sound is also fairly good for stock speakers. I have yet to hook up the surround sound but it almost isn't needed as the speakers are fairly loud even at 50% and the sound quality is clear, I should've expected no less from Samsung. Also it is truly a smart t.v. offering several voice activated options as well as wifi functions which all syncs so nicely together. The television is about as thick as a small children's book and weighs not much more than that, you won't pull your back out lifting this one! The remote is small yet durable and innovative as it offers plenty of accessibility while remaining quaint and easy to learn. It does have a few hook ups for HDMI, coaxial, ect so you can hook up several devices that each will have a tab to easily switch over to for video gaming, Blu-Ray players, and so forth. The stand is small yet effective and it balances the television just right when mounted. The television is 95% screen, there is a sliver of a black border that blends in nicely but other than that it's all screen. Overall I can really only think of positive things about this television and with a manufacturer like Samsung I'm not surprised, they are very thorough with all their technologies. I mean maybe it lacks a few extra HDMI or coaxial options so you won't be able to hook up 14 different video game consoles to it but who would. This television has really enhanced our television/movie/video game experience so I cannot speak highly enough of it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I waited a long time to receive this product, Samsung did not disappoint. this TV is great! The image quality and sound system are great. I do find it a bit strange that Samsung has pre-selected the apps you can see on the bar right away, but have to click on another place to see the rest of the apps. It is hard to find them at first, until you finally remember where they are downloaded to. I would assume that the apps you use the most are the ones you can see right away, but that is not the case here. My family and I enjoy this TV so much. We spent most of our time watching Netflix or playing video games. Overall a good TV, with some glitches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this Tv is awesome, as soon I finishing mounted on my bedroom and set it up, the colors and the picture impressed me! The resolutions is 4k makes all the shows, movies, and video games look amazing and more fun to watch or play video games. I like that it comes with Featured Streaming Services like Netflix, YouTube, apple tv+, Disney+ and more. It comes with 3 HDMI ports, perfect to connect the things that I need, like my video games and 1 Digital Optical Audio Output to connect my bar sound. The sound is pretty clear and loud enough. This TV is just amazing the quality of the picture is really crisp and the colors are very vibrant, very easy to navigate, great for entertain my household, especially during this pandemic!
