Thank you for your review of the AU8000 TV and sharing your experience with slow response time during startup.
To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.
Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware (v.1805.4). You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
Should you need further assistance, please contact Samsung Customer Support. Call us at call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.

A very nice TV for the color, size and value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a replacement tv and researched available large screens that had a great picture color at a good price. I found the 50 inch Samsung Chrystal UHD that meet all of my needs. The color on the set is great and I was able to purchase it during a sale, so the value was appreciated. I did not like the remote that came with it since it is too small and difficult to use but was able to sync the tv with my cable remote control. I also purchased a new solid stand since the separate chicken feet stand that came with the tv would not fit on the table. It has been a few months that I have had the tv and so far I am pleased with the purchase.

Great 4K entry level TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this tv after some quick research when my previous TV stopped working. I’m new to the 4K HDR world so I’m still learning how it all works. But I’m happy with this model as what I would consider an entry level 4K as is does not have 2.1 HDMI which I’m told is more for 120hz which I’m not that concerned about but a serious gamer may be. I will say it does look better in a darker room but bright light is still tolerable. I really enjoy the OS/interface it’s easy to use and I like the program guide that it downloads for your live tv antenna channels. I have a cabinet for my tv to sit in and the feet are very inconspicuous so I left them on instead of mounting on the wall. If I had more to spend I possibly would of gone for OLED Model but I’m completely happy with my purchase and would recommend this brand and model to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use Samsung TV for binging movies with family. Screen cast from my phone. So awesome to use. Easy to navigate using the Alexa remote control.I love the features of its colors and hue it makes me feel I’m in the theater while watching inside our room. For the apps it already available. I don’t need the cable box, wifi connection is enough to enjoy watching.
From the moment we bought this TV where not the only one would like to buy it. We meet the other buyer who’s looking for the same brand. We’re curious about it that’s why we ask the couple why do they like to buy it too? They told us it is the number 1 as in top 1 best seller and top on the list if your buying a flat screen TV with all functional.
It is so amazing to know about this TV. As we use it, no wonder why they like it because there’s a voice command remote just in case you don’t need to find thing immediately. It is so convenient to use this. Samsung has a lot of TV to choose from. Thank you so much Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I haven't used all it's features I am ABSOLUTELY satisfied with this TV the price was Great too. Mostly stream programs and watch regular programming the picture is so vivid it almost appears 3 dimensional
