My morning coffee game is officially next level!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I have been using this espresso machine for two weeks now and I’ve managed to try the coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, americano and flat white settings. We all like our coffee prepared differently so this machine has been world changing. I’ve never had a cafe quality latte or cappuccino made so effortlessly. For some perspective, we currently have an Italian au pair living with us from overseas and her family is in the coffee business back in early —- she says the espressos from this machine taste the same as how her family prepares them back home. Now she isn’t home sick for an amazing cappuccino or espresso. I couldn’t be happier with this machine. It’s easy to use, easy to clean and the dosage and sensor helps achieve the best flavor I’ve had from an at home machine so far. I’ll be buying and gifting a bunch of these machines to friends and family during the holidays.

Amazing machine!

The machine is so easy to use and has made life so much easier. It’s looks very intimidating, but is very easy to use. You can customize your coffee to your liking. Make sure to clean after use. Highly recommend!

Excellent quality machine for all coffee lovers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This espresso maker not only makes quality espresso drinks but other hot beverages as well including regular coffee. The drinks are better quality than I can even get from a coffee shop because I can make the drinks exactly how I like them. The device does everything for you from grinding the beans to frothing the drink. My favorite setting to use is the cappuccino setting. The design is sleek and modern. The stainless steel does show fingerprints and needs to be wiped down frequently. All the settings on the machine are easy to understand. The This appliance is very heavy and not easy to move from place to place in the kitchen. It also takes up a large amount of space. Overall if you like fun coffee drinks like I do you will thoroughly enjoy having this machine in your home. It truly makes for a fun experience.

I have made and tried so many different varieties since receiving this wonderful machine. So easy to make espresso, coffee, and lattes right in the comfort of my own home. I love coffee and now I have my own coffee shop at the palm of my hands. Very easy to use and set up plus it doesn’t take up a lot of room and if it did this espresso machine is well worth it. Get yours today because others don’t compare to the LaSecialista Maestro Espresso machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you really enjoy fine espresso this is the machine for you!! dare I say almost professional! No pods needed here. Out of the box the directions made set up pretty easy and online tutorials helped up learn more about the fine tuning for our tasted that this machine offers. we learned a lot. The minor adjustments make a big difference. If was fun learning all the features. Unbeatable quality! It does take up a little bit of counter space but it really is a show piece as well! We absolutely love it.

Impressive looking expresso machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Delonghi La Specialista is an impressive looking expresso machine that will catch the attention of anyone walking into your kitchen. At first it might seem intimidating and complicated but the quick start instruction guide includes pictures and enough information to get started. My 10 year old daughter was even able to make quality lattes after a quick tutorial from my wife. The water container is at the back of the machine and is easily removed for refilling. It has automatic and manual options for frothing milk. The coffee grinder starts automatically when you connect the portafilter and stops when it's full. The tamping handle is conveniently located on the top left side of the machine. It will make coffee, americanos, lattes and expressos - there is something to please everyone in the family! There is also a flat white option. The machine is easy to clean after using it and the detachable parts are all dish-washer safe. There are too many features and options to cover in a single review. What I like best about the Delonghi La Specialista is that it makes a darn good cup of coffee that I look forward to every morning.

A beautiful machine that makes quality shots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will start with the obvious: La Specialista Maestro (LSM) is one fine lookin' piece of machinery. Seriously, it is stunning and a statement piece that will upgrade the appearance of any kitchen. Nonetheless, it is an espresso machine, so no matter how good it looks, it needs to make quality shots. Luckily, it achieves that.
I have been making espresso for the past 15 or so years and have owned several machines, ranging from semi-automatics with pressurized baskets to super-automatics, so I came to the Delonghi with some experience.
The machine conveniently combines an espresso machine, burr grinder, tamper, steam wand, and automatic milk frother in one, much like a super-automatic. However, unlike a super-automatic, LSM does not remove you from the drink-making process. If you are looking to simply press one button and then become a spectator, that is not what LSM is about. You have to be involved, which makes your drink taste all the more rewarding. That being said, you can choose how much control you want to have. No matter what, you have to grind the beans, tamp the grinds, and move the portafilter to the group head. After that, there are plenty of options. There are several presets, which when combined with the automatic milk frother, allow you to press a button, and the LSM will take care of the rest. Alternatively, you can put the setting on espresso, and pull just a single or double shot. Afterward, you can use the steam wand to steam the milk, and even create that perfect microfoam for latte art. One of the great things about the LSM is the My button, which allows you to adjust the amount of water and/or milk used for a particular setting. I prefer to use 1:1.5 ratio of ground coffee to liquid ratio for my espresso, and I am able to achieve this with the My button.
A couple other things I really appreciate are the non-pressurized baskets and the non-panarello steam wand, making it closer to a commercial setup. Espresso is created under pressure, and that pressure should be created by the coffee puck, not the basket. Because the baskets are not pressurized, you will need to dial in your grind and dose settings, as well as tamping pressure, to make sure the desired amount of espresso comes out in the desired time (25 seconds). Once you have it dialed in, you will be rewarded with excellent shots with beautiful, cinnamon-colored crema, provided you use fresh, quality beans, of course. The steam wand does not have any attachments on it, allowing you to have more control over the quality of the froth. While the steam wand takes some skill, there is always the automatic frothing attachment for those looking for a more automated process.
The LSM is not perfect, however, and one thing I wish it had was a water-level indicator on the front, so I don't have to turn the machine around or lift up the water tank to see how much is in there. I just add a cup or so of water each morning to make sure it does not run out, so it is only a minor issue.
Overall, from looks to performance, the LSM is wonderful. I have never been so happily caffeinated.

The directions are pretty simple and clear. In addition to all sorts of coffees it also makes a great hot tea. I feel like I have my own little coffee shop at home. I highly recommend.
