Good manual espresso machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m impressed how this DeLonghi La Specialista Maestro manual espresso machine can extract oils better from the same coffee beans than my superautomatic machine or moka pot can. There is a noticeable improvement in crema and body, which I really enjoy! I like that this espresso machine is easy enough to use on a busy morning. The key is to experiment with coffee beans on slower days to perfect the dose, grind, temperature, and pressure to get the optimal extraction. Once figured out, write down the preferred settings if you like to switch up beans like I do. I like that this machine starts up quickly, makes little mess, and is easy to clean up after. I’m really impressed with the aesthetics of the machine. The gauges and finish are really eye catching. The matte and shiny metal, as well as the glossy black trim make for a really sleek appearance.
I wish the portafilter was easier to line up in the brewing station; it takes more precision and force than I’d prefer early in the morning. I wish the height of the machine was a touch shorter. The bean hopper does not clear my standard height kitchen cabinets. The water tank in the back can be difficult to fill all the way. I had best results filling about ¾.
For me, the quality of coffee extracted overrides this machines short comings. The DeLonghi La Specialista Maestro is a good option for a manual espresso machine.

Excellent Machine makes yummy drinks

I like being able to use my favorite beans and have the machine grind them fresh. Easy to use with instructions.

Great Coffee Drinks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, this machine makes great coffee beverages. It does a little practice to get your temperature, dose, and grind level just right for your favorite beans, but once you dial it in it works like a champ. The controls are easy and the process to use the machine is clearly outlined in the manual. After about six test runs, I was able to dial in with my favorite whole bean coffee and it has churned out some delicious beverages every morning since.
My only complaint is about the water tank design. Due to it's location and how it comes off, it does not work well on the countertop under the cabinets. The machine has to be moved in order to easily take the water tank out to fill it. The other issue is that the lit gets in the way of filling from our filtered water from our refrigerator. It can only can be filled 75% of the way before it starts spilling out due to the angle it has to be held at.
Overall this is a great machine. The setup was exceptionally easy and the instructions are clear and easy to understand.

Exquisite coffee experience for everyone

Safe to say that we all love our coffee prepared differently - from espresso to cappuccino to latte or Americano, all the various types of coffee can be made in this machine with ease. This LaSpecialista Maestro coffee machine is beautifully designed and is revolutionary to cater all our coffee needs. It is quite easy to make, clean and the dosage and sensor helps in preparing the best flavored coffee at home. The machine looks a bit overwhelming at first but it comes with detailed easy to follow instructions. There are six specialty brew selections which helps making our favorite drink a quick exercise. The machine does all the activities, from grinding the beans to frothing (LatteCrema system) the drink. This LatteCrema system automatically dispenses the right amount of froth in the drink of your choice. There is a sensor that dispatches the optimal amount of beans for grinding. The built-in tamper has a lever that presses the coffee grounds evenly resulting in less waste. There are five different temperature settings to tailor the roasting per individual needs. Simple drinks like espresso with a single or double shot can be achieved with a press of a button, however, other drinks does require you to be a bit more involved. There is also a My button which allows you to adjust the amount of water or milk to be added for a specific setting. Depending the type of coffee one desires, this setting can be adjusted accordingly. I did notice that there is no water level indicator on the front side of the machine which requires to turn around the machine to lift the water tank to confirm the water level. Overall, the stainless steel body adds an elegant look to the machine and is a great addition to our kitchen.

Delicious Coffee, Kit is a Work of Art

Even when not in use, it just draws you in to stare at the machine. The coffee maker has a ton of features to ensure that you can dial in the perfect cup of coffee or espresso every time. It's surprisingly quiet in operation and grind. If you want to be a dabbling barista at home, this is the machine for you.

My own personal coffee shop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best investments ever..! It's like buying a whole coffee shop that is open 24/7. The quality, aroma and flavor of the coffees are unbeatable. It took a couple days of practice using it, but we have finally mastered it! Once you figure out the correct settings and get quality coffee beans, it’s actually quite simple. We love making lattes and other special drinks at home, especially when we entertain.

My morning coffee game is officially next level!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I have been using this espresso machine for two weeks now and I’ve managed to try the coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, americano and flat white settings. We all like our coffee prepared differently so this machine has been world changing. I’ve never had a cafe quality latte or cappuccino made so effortlessly. For some perspective, we currently have an Italian au pair living with us from overseas and her family is in the coffee business back in early —- she says the espressos from this machine taste the same as how her family prepares them back home. Now she isn’t home sick for an amazing cappuccino or espresso. I couldn’t be happier with this machine. It’s easy to use, easy to clean and the dosage and sensor helps achieve the best flavor I’ve had from an at home machine so far. I’ll be buying and gifting a bunch of these machines to friends and family during the holidays.
