Excellent espresso maker with lots of options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product for a number of reasons. It looks beautiful on the counter as the pictures show, but it also allows you to make excellent espresso and coffee to many different settings and preferences. I'm a espresso drinker, but a novice at making my own. This machine was well built, sturdy, and made it very easy to get espresso going in no time. I love experimenting with the different grind and dose settings to get the shot that is perfect for me. The built in tamper is an excellent addition and works wonderfully. The built in milk steamer is easy to use. The machine is tall, to the point where when it's on the countertop under a cabinet, there isn't enough room to open the lid and add the coffee beans. Same goes for refilling the water reservoir which is attached to the back of the machine. I ended up placing it on a counter where there were no overhead cabinets so adding the beans was no problem. I do have to pull the machine away from the wall a bit to detach and refill the water reservoir, but it has a decent capacity that doesn't require refilling often and I don't find myself inconvenienced by it. Between different coffee beans, flavoring syrups, milk/dairy options, iced/hot, and coffee/espresso settings, I get to try new beverages every day and this machine makes it high quality, super easy, and fun. This has already saved me plenty of spending at the local well-known coffee shop, and is an excellent investment.

My own personal coffee shop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best investments ever..! It's like buying a whole coffee shop that is open 24/7. The quality, aroma and flavor of the coffees are unbeatable. It took a couple days of practice using it, but we have finally mastered it! Once you figure out the correct settings and get quality coffee beans, it’s actually quite simple. We love making lattes and other special drinks at home, especially when we entertain.

Makes delicious espresso!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LaSpecialista Maestro Espresso Machine is all you need to make a perfect coffee/latte/espresso. It did take me a bit of time to adjust the grind and tamping pressure. Yes, it wastes a bit of beans at first, but it is well worth it now, as my espresso shots are very consistent. It was definitely worth the time and extra coffee beans doing this. Don't skip this part!!
The grinder is integrated in the unit. It contains a sensor to have the optimal amount of beans dispensed. It is very handy not having to pull out a separate grinder. The built-in tamper has a lever that presses down the grounds so you have less mess and waste. As far as brewing goes, there are preset choices on the machine to create many types of drinks. There is 5 different temperature settings, so you can tailor the temperature to your roast level as well as your liking. There is a LatteCrema Automatic Milk Frother on this machine as well, which is very easy to operate.
Overall, I really enjoy my espresso maker. It makes a great latte, is easy to clean and looks very professional sitting on my countertop.

I have had the Maestro a month.
Pros: automatic froth, aesthetically pleasing look, two cup heights, pre-programmed coffee choices.
Cons: Grinder settings, grinder basket removes but you have to vacuum the beans from the bottom.
