This machine has only lasted a few months for me before failing. Sounds like a broken piece in the head as it spins.

DO NOT GET THIS MACHINE!

I am on my 3rd machine in less than 10 months and now have to send this one in to be repaired. Disappointed in this model is an understatement. Their customer service is great but they should have put equal effort into R&D before releasing this model. Don't waste your time or money on the Next!

Not the best machine…buy the Vertuo not the Next

It makes excellent coffee but… it is difficult to close and brew. I found myself always slamming it. It was a chore to make coffee. You can’t really clean it so the coffee grounds build up (from trying to close it several time each time you want to make coffee). Eventually it broke. Nespresso did replace it but I opted for a different machine. So glad I did!! Got the Vertuo machine and it is night and day. 1000x better.

Had for 3 months and water tank is breaking

Really loved this machine, but after three months use- the water tank is breaking into pieces and system is having difficulty pulling the water from the tank. CS was nice but no replacement part available. I would preferred a replacement machine all together, but not offered.

Great while it lasted

The machine worked great for the first month; after that, it went downhill. The device was releasing cold water. After that, the machine will finish the entire water tank without stopping.

Vertuo Next vs Vertuo Original

The Vertuo Next is a step backwards. Would give it a 1 but the coffee still tastes great. From the beginning the machine asks to descale so often, it is simply not worth the time and effort. If you unplug it, you have to descale before you can make another cup. It has taken the enjoyment out of using the machine. This is a design flaw for certain. I have both the new Next and the older Vertuo original and the Orignal simply blows the Next away. Spend more money and go for quality. This is a real shame for the Next series as Nespresso coffee is better than every other pod coffee, period. Wish I could return the Next or replace it.

This machine has serious issues

First off, when the machine works it brews great and delicious coffee. Unfortunately, the design and the build of this machine have serious flaws. I have had THREE machines in less than 15 months and all of them broke down and do not work anymore. After just a few weeks my first machine stopped working and I got a new one under warranty. The 2nd machine had serious issues and couldn't read any pods and it got replaced once again. The 3rd machine was working just fine for a few months until it broke down like the first 2 machines. It's a shame because when it works like it's supposed to be, the experience it's amazing, great-tasting coffee with just a click of a button. But I would not recommend it. Despite intense maintenance, it will stop working after just a few cups.

Machine didn't last a year, & was special edition

Machine purchased June of 2021, replaced on March 18th for overflow. Unfortunately this was a very rare special order machine that they replaced with another limited edition but didn't offer any other incentives. Very good experience with Tech Support (including a live video engagement for support), replacement was no questions asked, but really disappointed that I have to get a new machine in less than a year, much less this was a significant gift.
