I went through two of these in two months and gave up and completely switched machines. Nespresso was very kind, but I do not recommend this machine. It would glitch, pour water everywhere, stop brewing, etc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I bought my Vertuo next in November and is was amazing for the first couple of months until I got a blinking orange light and the machine refused to work. Nespresso was amazing and sent me a replacement machine that worked for all of two coffees before never turning on again. Get a different version this one is TRASH

I am very disappointed. It makes great coffee but i was surprised that it stopped working. This machine is not inexpensive and i expected more.

I bought this a few months ago and I wish I would’ve returned it. Closing it is really difficult. This never happened with any of the other machines I have had. Sometimes the water doesn’t go through but ends up in the capsule dispenser. A huge hot mess. I am so disappointed because normally Nespresso makes a great machine but not this time!!! Don’t buy the machine try another one.

Love it!

I bought my Vertuo Next about 3 weeks ago and it has been working FLAWLESS!! I love this machine, it can a bit loud but it’s only for a few seconds. I love the different flavors they offer, also the milk frother is to notch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nespresso service outweighs machine issues

This is my 2 Nespresso machine. The first became noisy but worked till I replaced it. This model looks great but has had a few brewing issues over time. The first was resolved by customer care over the phone but a a few months later it stopped brewing. It would clean using the triple click but not brew. Late on a Sunday night a customer care rep went through the diagnostics with me and simply said “ I’ll send you another machine. Retrun this after receiving new one. Which would you like……” had new machine in a week and was sent a sleeve of my choice of coffee for my trouble. This company is super. A coffee maker is an inexpensive machine. The company is super.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We loved our Nespresso Virtuo BUT

But it died after 3 years and we were excited to try the Virtuo next. It seems to work OK, BUT the coffee comes out Luke warm. We have only had it a few days but if we can't fix this we will take it back. How do we get the coffee to be piping hot?

Nespresso machines are designed to brew each blend to the specific programmed temperature that is best suited to that blend, as defined by Nespresso Coffee Experts. Quality is important to us, so the coffee brews to its ideal temperature without burning. Please bear in mind that added cold milk and sweeteners can decrease the temperature of the drink. We have some tips to help prepare a hotter beverage to increase your overall enjoyment: • Use hot water to preheat the cup to keep the coffee hotter longer. • Make sure the size of cup you are using matches the size of the blend. A small espresso poured into a large mug, for example, will cool down very quickly. • Clean the brew unit by running the Clean Cycle at least once a week. This also helps eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit. • Descale the machine. Scale build-up can interfere with proper heating and can also affect the taste and brew time of the coffee. We recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Decent coffee, unreliable machine

Avoid the Next, stick with regular Virtuo machine. It leaks from the top, and there's grounds in my cup which I've never experienced with a Nespresso machine before.
