Do not buy

This is a poorly built product. I’m on my second one (first broke) and this one is now leaking coffee out the base.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped working after 6 months. Previously owned Vertuo line for 4 years and never had any issues. Thank you, Nespresso for a replacement (they were able to replace it for a different model). So, I stay with Nespresso for the service quality. Always so helpful!

Buy any other model, stay away from the Next.

Machine was fantastic for the first 2.5 months. Then it started leaking down the sides every time it brewed. I had to keep a dishtowel on the counter beside it and it would soak that towel after only 2-3 brews. That doesn't include the water that would pool up underneath the machine. After a few weeks of leaking it stopped brewing altogether. Lots of troubleshooting alone and with support failed and it never came back to life. Support replaced the machine with a different model. The support service was good. I love my Nespresso coffees, but I recommend any other model.

Started Great - Didn't End Well

I ordered this machine about a year ago and loved it. Recently, I went to the machine for a cup of coffee minutes before a 90-minute meeting and...nothing! I tried several times and the coffee would not brew. It stopped working, without any warning signs and I was very disappointed. One good thing is that Nespresso has excellent customer service, and when the trouble shooting didn't work, I was offered a free replacement. I ordered a different Vertuo machine due to negative reviews of the Vertuo Next' am in love with my Nespresso coffee again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gorgeous Machine, Better Coffee

I have had my Vertuo Next Premium for 2 months now, and it is overall a wonderful machine. It makes excellent coffee and looks stunning in our kitchen. My only two complaints are that the water tank is a little too small and it is difficult to close and lock. Locking in a pod should be an easy, one-handed operation, but my wife can barely close the thing with two hands, so she will hardly use it. I, on the other hand, love the thing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Machine leaking water everywhere. A visit to google shows the Vertuo Next is leaking for dozens of owners.

Can't wait to get up & start my day with this

Not only is the machine beautiful to look at but the coffee is A M A Z I N G. This is my second unit. I have had the CitiZ for about 5-years (our whole family has them) and loved that model but I bought my son a Vertuo Next for Christmas a year ago and the coffee flavor and crema is off the hook. Rich creamy flavor as good or better than anything you would get out. I like super strong coffee so use the double-shot pods. I am up in Lake Tahoe visiting a friend and literally had to bring it with me. Now he wants one hahaha. I did have a little issue with this unit at first but called customer service and they were every bit as awesome as their products.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Noisy

This is my third machine. I bought this version only because I thought it could be set for morning coffee. It cannot. The Bluetooth rarely works. The orange light blinks constantly and there are always grounds in my cup. It’s also extremely loud, and the water reservoir is small so must be filled constantly. The dreaded blinking orange light goes off after three cups. Annoying!! The large coffee was discontinued on my old unit, Delonghi, which I loved . Overall disappointed with this unit.
