Gorgeous, Compact + High Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve read that the “Next” line of Vertuo machines got a bad rap recently, but this machine is wonderful. We got it in the Deep Brown/Bronze Limited Edition color, and it’s really elegant and doesn’t take up much counter space. We’ve really enjoyed going through the coffee sample pack that came with it, and marking down which pods we like best. We even went back to the Nespresso Store for the milk frother a few days later. Better than most coffee shops!

Quieter machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine was much quieter than my older model. The latching mechanism is a little difficult when people come visit. There is a small learning curve with how to latch the machine to start the coffee.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Convenient and Compact

It is fairly foolproof, so if you have an older relative that loves coffee, it is perfect because it is incredibly easy to set up and use right out of the box. It is perfect for people who want a quick brew without any clean up or fuss. They also offer a wide range of options through the capsule system, so it's easy to please everyone regardless of the kind of coffee or espresso that they prefer...
Pros: Convenient, Wide assortment of capsules to choose from, Easy to Use, Makes Delicious Espressos, High Quality Machine, Does not take up too much room on my countertop, Makes Delicious Espresso Drinks (Cappuccino, Latte etc.), Wide variety of capsule brands to choose from, Appealing Design

Don’t buy

Worked great for a year. Got it for Christmas. Has a one year warranty… isn’t that convenient. Feels like it doesn’t read some coffee pods but reads others. I suspect it’s being phased out similar to how Apple try’s to phase out old models. It’s a hunk of junk now. Wish I never switched from Keurig.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Rarely works, needs replacement often.

When it works it's great; but unfortunately it rarely works. We run a cleaning cycle every Sunday, and still it constantly malfunctions. It'll stop working in the middle of pods, it'll stop working when it's reading a pod, it'll just stop sending water through the pod while the coffee is brewing, it'll get halfway through a pod and shut down, and then finally we left it alone for a week and it won't power back on. Second defective model we had. We spoke to folks at a local store and they said that they've heard lots of customer complaints about the Vertuo next not working properly and having lots of failures, so we'll work with them on an exchange to a different model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DO NOT BUY

Do not buy this machine! First machine lasted like 8 months. Was sent a replacement that lasted 2 months. Joke of a machine!!

Works great!

So far I have had this Nespresso Machine for a whole year and it still functions perfectly as the first day I bought it. I bought for my husband a she is the big coffee drinker and he enjoys making his coffee in many ways including iced coffee.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I don’t like how it opens and closes
