Great Product, When it's Working!!

I bought the Vertuo Next 5 months ago. The machine is great when it works properly. Unfortunately, I have encountered problems with the machine preparing to brew, switching to orange and back to white. This caused a lot of time, frustration and wasted capsules trying to figure out what the problem was.
Additionally, there's room for improvement in the Blinking Summary section of the instruction manual. Troubleshooting instructions are vague at best and desperately need to be revised to include more details.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stopped working and leaks all over

I received this as a Christmas gift and it stopped working after 9 months. I kept getting error messages that the pod was not a Nespresso pod (which it was). After wasting 4 pods, I tried to clean and descale, but still didn't work. Also, tried to reset-unsucessful. Then I tried to reset the bluetooth connection-still didn't work. The most frustrating thing was the leaking from the bottom that stained my new granite counter top.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Flawed product

The only reason I'm giving this machine 3 stars is because of Nespresso's amazing customer service. I purchased this machine earlier this year and am on my 4th machine. We went with the Virtuo Next because, at the time, it was their latest model and their previous models in this series received excellent reviews. Issues are basically always the same, it will work for a period of time and you can get it to continue to work using their trouble shooting techniques. Each time it will work for progressively shorter periods of time. Eventually, you can no longer get a cup of coffee. Same error code, white blinking light (sounds like it is going to work), then 2 slow blinking gold lights back to solid white; no coffee. I kept up with trying to get it to work because the flavor of the coffee is the best I've had for a home brewed, single cup brewing machine. Bottom line, this machine is, in my opinion, not worth the trouble.

Mamma mia !!! BAD QUALITY MACHINE

This was the 2nd. Vertuo machine, horrible and bad quality machine, the coffee is good but the machine is really a bad experience.
This complicated system to be pushing 3 timers here and 3 times there, for a coffee machine.
You forgot to go to ITALY and learn how to build a real coffee machine.

Works for less than 1 year. a piece of crap

This machine started to leak after 11 month and Nespresso sent me a "refurbished" replacement. The replacement worked for 3 weeks and won't even turn on. Luckily I still had my old machine with me and spent sometime tyring to figure out the problem. The problem is the headunit does not cool down after brewing a cup of coffee and whenever this happens the machine fails to brew the next cup at all or coffee does not drip completely and a puddle of coffee collects around the capsule holder. I think there is a bug in this computer chip that the machine fails to turn off the heating element fast enough and it eventually fails. A friend of mind has the same problem with this model. I had another Nesspresso machine failed after 1 year of use and both machiones were designed by DeLonghi. Regardless, Nesspresso has a quality control issue.

Great coffee, but having issues.

I received my Nespresso August,2021 ran great for a couple months now it randomly leaks and it will act like it's going to make coffee but randomly stops at one point I had to take everything off flip it upside down and spin the coffee reader to try and get the bearing inside to go.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loud, unreliable, minimal crema. Buy Nespresso Vir

My son-in-law has the Virtuo Plus model and after visiting with them my wife was hooked, so I decided to buy one for her birthday. Thinking it was the latest, greatest model, he suggested getting the Virtuo Next model, and we were very disappointed. It doesn’t produce nearly as much crema, is noticeably louder, and glitchy. Sometimes it worked fine, other times it would inexplicably start and stop. We returned it and bought the Plus model and it works perfectly. Lots of crema, works consistently, much quieter, and it also works with after-market refillable pods like Recaps, which the Next model didn’t. It’s simple, reliable, and makes a great cup of coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pick a different machine

We never had an issue with our previous two versions of Nespresso machines. Something is definitely wrong with the Vertuo Next. We've had it replaced twice, and they all don't work. They all leak all the time. Sometimes you press the button and it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you get a small cup, and sometimes it overflows (same pods). We reset it A LOT and spend a lot of time on the phone with customer service.
