This is the 3rd machine that I had that has broken. I've followed the instructions and care guides diligently and I still have had so many issues. Stay away.

Constantly leaked water

Got in September. Started leaking like 3 months in. Had to call to get it replaced. Just went with the classic to avoid these issues. Great cup of coffee, but don't buy this model.

We certainly want your Nespresso experience to be special and exactly to your satisfaction. We’re happy to see you were able to speak with a Machine Expert and arranged to receive a replacement machine. For best maintenance for your Vertuo, we recommend to always eject the used capsule after every use, run the Clean Cycle once a week to eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit, and descale your machine every three months. All removable spare parts, including the water tank, should be washed by hand at least once a week.

When it worked it was good

I bought the Vertuo Next at Christmas and twice I have had to replace it because the machine would randomly stop working. The support team was extremely helpful, and they replaced it twice after video conferencing with me. The second time they replaced it with a Nespresso Vertuo model. Hopefully this one will continue to work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor build on machine

We use Nespresso coffee exclusively. We brew Coffee and espresso. We have A Vertuo original and an Evoluo and both have worked great for years. We bought the Next for our camper RV, and as such it has not had heavy use. We use it this past weekend and it did not brew the coffee and just spit out water. It also started spitting out water into the capsule receptacle. The lid also wont close all the way any more. Definitely returning and will try the Plus

Please be aware, Nespresso machines are not designed, nor do they have the proper certification, for use on airplanes, boats or buses. The specifications for Nespresso machines sold for use in North America are 1260W, 120V, 60Hz, A.C. (except the CS220) and should only be connected to a grounded power supply. Although a vehicle may be wired for those exact specifications, we cannot and do not guarantee that these machines will function correctly on any vehicle. We recommend running a priming cycle once a week through your machine, to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Vertuo Next is the WORST

I love the coffee, but this machine is straight trash. It’s has never worked properly. It gives you the orange light EVERY SINGLE TIME you use it. Doesn’t matter if it’s the first/second cup of the day, whether you’ve just cleaned/descaled it, it never freaking works. Save yourself the money & aggravation and get a different machine.

Real bummer

8 mths in on this and it failed today and won’t pump water through the pod. Not the first issue. Originally trouble with Bluetooth and not brewing about twice per week. Unplug, reset, cross fingers. Usually worked within 1-2 cycles of the reset. Now it appears the decision is made for me. I’ll be going with any other vertuo brewer than this model. Too many one star reviews to ignore so save yourself the trouble.

Worst Coffee Machine

Machine always leaks and is always needing to descale! Other than that is fine but definitely do not recommend!
