Esthetically pleasing however not the best gadget

I am on my 4th machine, I had 2 faulty machines, my 3rd one lasted under a year and now I got it replaced again. I don’t know what the issue is but it stops working frequently, I’ve heard this from other users too. Often the pods don’t pour, I think because the machine isn’t processing. I’m not sure I’d recommend this to anyone. I have just ordered a different version on the machine, hopefully that one lasts.

1st machine worked fine for 3-4 months, then it broke. Second machine arrived as a replacement, did not last a week and broke again. Stay away for your sake

Unreliable

We got the machine as a wedding present, used it for 4 months before having to call Nespresso to help trouble shoot. It wouldn’t make coffee/crema and the grounds would be in the bottom of the cup. Even after going through a cleaning cycle it wouldn’t work, Nespresso replaced it. Fast forward 6 months, I was diligent about cleaning and descaling and it stops working one day with a continuous flashing light. Two support calls and it still won’t do anything just not responding. Thankfully Nespresso is replacing it with a completely different machine than the Next line and extending the warranty for me. I’ve heard such great things about Nespresso but this machine was highly disappointing but I’m glad they’re making it better the customer service is phenomenal.

For best maintenance for your Evoluo machine, we recommend to always eject the used capsule after every use, run the Clean Cycle once a week to eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit, and descale your machine every three months. Broke

We purchased this machine a few months ago. Pump stopped working. Very difficult to turn on...top handle very stiff. Now we are stuck with two cases of pods we cannot use. We unpacked our old machine...we have three of those still working.

Love, if it would work consistently..

We owned this machine 2 months before the orange light began giving us issues. We thought we resolved the issue but it got worse and more often. We called the company and did a video call so they could see. By mid April 2022 (began using in January 2022) it had completely stopped working on the video call. They sent another which we were happy with but today (end of April) it began giving us a red light. We reset the machine each time and will give it a chance. But we recommend a different model! We have hundreds of dollars of coffee to use and a machine that is hit or miss right now.

Malfunctioning after 3.5 months

I presented this Vertuo Next Deluxe (made by DeLonghi) as a has, and become erratic in reading barcodes on pods. Now it suddenly brews double espresso regardless of pod type and also leaks water. Personally, I have been using Vertuo for 7+ years making 2-3 cups daily, and I never had a bad or erratic cup of coffee. I am heading to Nespresso store to replace the faulty Vertuo Next Deluxe machine with one of prior models.

It was great while it lasted

Haven't even had this machine for a year and of all days, Mothers day morning it decides it doesn't want to work. I spent 3 hours trying to descale, factory reset, shut off and let cool down over night... still blinking fast orange light the next day. Can not get it to do anything. Watched endless videos, troubleshot based on the Nespresso website, no change. Very sad, the coffee is amazing.

Extremely Disappointed Twice

Bought our first machine in August last year (2021). My wife and I both had a coffee on average about every 2-3 days, so not heavy users. We then bought another for my adult sons for their home. They are average users but not heavy coffee drinkers. This was purchased at Christmas 2021. Within 1 month of each other (first part of April), both of stopped working. As others have said, orange blinking light. Descaled, cleaned, etc. all to no avail. We also had issues with the frother working sometimes and other times it would not. Tried to get help online only to find out this is a common issue with the Vertuo Next. Will not purchase another one.
