When it works, it is fine. But I needed a replacement in less than a year. The replacement, straight out of the box, is shockingly loud and often fails to brew for no reason. I have wasted so many pods. The descaling process is way overcomplicated too.

This is our 5th nespresso coffee machine.....we've tried all different ones, and the last one, the Vertuo, still is not working properly......called Customer Service, who was great, and they are sending me out yet another machine.....so we'll see how this one works....if we have problems with this one, we're just returning to get our money back!

Frustration too early in the morning!

Customer Service is great, but I've struggled keeping this machine. I thought it was the pods that didn't work, but I do think it's the machine. I just purchased $100 worth of pods, so I'm hoping this machine will brew it! So far it's very sporadic.......

We certainly want your Nespresso experience to be special and exactly to your satisfaction. We suggest when turning on your machine, allow your machine to warm up. The light will begin to pulse slowly for about 30 seconds, indicating the “warm-up” phase. Once the light is steady the machine is ready for use. Insert your Nespresso capsule, and ensure the lever is fully locked. The lever must go past the lock symbol and there should be a slight click sound when fully locked. For best maintenance for your Vertuo Next, we recommend to always eject the used capsule after every use and run the Cleaning Cycle at least once a week. Broke within a month

I got this a month ago as a Christmas gift and it seriously already broke. I lost count of the amount of pods I wasted trying to get the dang machine to work. Customer service was great and tried to help trouble shoot the issue. They are sending me a new machine, so we'll see if this one works. Not very hopeful this is going to fix the terrible design of these machines. READ THE REVIEWS PEOPLE!

Horrible right out of the box

My first review was not posted. I’m assuming because of my adamant dissatisfaction with my Nespresso machine. This thing didn’t even last through a whole box of 10 coffee pods. It started leaking from the back housing almost immediately after the first use. Since I’m not really able to express my true feelings on this forum let’s just say I’m really unhappy.

This review is specifically about the machine. Nespresso has been wonderful in their customer service, but I still had a terrible experience with my Vertuo Next. I bought this on Black Friday after MONTHS of waiting. It worked flawlessly for about a month and a half, then had to get it replaced after it stopped brewing mid-January. Today it's mid-February and the new one stopped working - they're replacing with a Vertuo instead.

leaking, stained cabinets

Enjoyed the brew for 40 days (just passed 30 day return policy), when it doesn't pour water out the side and over fill the cup, dripping coffee down to the floor. Permanent cabinet stain and wet mess. Yeah, bummer... Went to web site and tried factory reset to prevent overfilling. Didn't work.

Terrible machine

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas against my better judgment after reading the reviews. The first one wouldn't brew coffee after the first cup. It is supposed to connect to your phone so you can troubleshoot any issues but it lost the connection immediately and just said no machine found. I returned it and bought a second one figuring we couldn't get two bad ones in a row. Was I ever wrong!! The second one lasted two days before the issues started. It had a blue light on top and wouldn't brew coffee. (there is no mention of a blue light in the manual). My daughter called the help line and after requesting that she perform a long series of button pressing and unplugging it brewed a single cup of coffee. The response from Nespresso was that she was "all set". They told her the blue light was either a chip malfunction or condensation in the machine (even though she had only made two cups of coffee at that point). It has required at least one reset every day to get a cup of coffee and many days it just won't work at all. And like the previous machine, it will not connect to her phone when it is having an issue. She has made several calls to Nespresso with no real offers to correct the issue. And yesterday she discovered it has been leaking and ruined the top of her coffee stand. We have a Vertuo Plus and love it so I have ordered one for her. Believe the reviews you see and stay away from this machine!
