My favorite part of the day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this machine about a month ago and it has been such a treat to have. Actually since I got I don't think I have had coffee from anywhere else (Starbucks, Dunkin, etc). I love how easy it is and how beautiful it looks on my counter.

Totally disappointed!

I bought my first Vertuo Next Machine in 2021 and it was working like a charm until it started having problems (e.g. leaking). I called customer service and worked with them to diagnosis the issue. The machine was defective and had to be replaced.
The replacement (exact same machine) was working well until 1 yr and 3 months and it started acting up again. Same scenario (e.g. leaking) and now I was offered the Vertuo Plus machine as a replacement. Wish me luck!!!
Through this process I spoke with 3 different customer service reps (Ray, Shankia and Renee) and even though they were probably reading from a script on how to help me troubleshoot the issues, they were professional and understood my disappointment in the performance of the machines.
I would like to suggest that the company track these issues with these machines and get to the root cause so their customers will be happy and won't have to replace the machines. I really like my Nespresso machine/coffee and each time I've been let down by it's performance. I'm praying it doesn't happened again; otherwise, I'll have to remove myself from the Nespresso family :-(

Quick delicious cup of espresso

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best cup of espresso I ever had from an at home machine. The box is well detailed about what your getting, easy to get out & put back. Instructions are very easy to understand, so you can get quickly to making your first cup. Pulling it out the box you see a nice matte black mixed with stainless steel & clear water tank. I was overwhelmed with all the wonderful flavors that were offered to my taste buds to indulge. A three part assemble, fill up with water. Had me ready to place the crystal clear coffee cup & insert pod in. Had me enjoying a delicious cup of espresso faster than I can get my cream frothing. If you love the espresso life, you will definitely love the value that comes from the nespresso.
Pros: Convenient, Wide assortment of capsules to choose from, Easy to Use, Has Delicious Crema, Makes Delicious Espressos, High Quality Machine, Does not take up too much room on my countertop, Makes Delicious Espresso Drinks (Cappuccino, Latte etc.), Wide variety of capsule brands to choose from, Appealing Design
Cons: Does not have a built-in milk frother

Vertuo Next

I am enjoying the new Vertuo Next model as a new owner of this model. This is an app connected model and factory resets and firmware can be updated. Vertuo Next requires the user to empty the capsule disposal unit more often and I do it each time to drain the water and dispose of the capsule for recycling. Maintaining the machine is different than the Vertuo Plus Deluxe but the cleaning cycle with pressing the button 3 times in 2 seconds is the same. The game changer is the carafe and although there are currently 2 flavors, the Pour Over Coffee is the reason to purchase over the other models. Also I like the way the coffee tastes on this model and I use only bottled water on all Nespresso machines. Descaling will be less using bottled water.
The Rich Brown Deluxe model is beautiful and I like the Deluxe Chrome model as well.
The chipset in this model is currently working well as designed and the key is understanding the lights and when to open the machine and start operation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The best pod style coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for several weeks and am still impressed with the quality of this machine. The pod is sensed by the machine and makes adjustments to the brewing depending on the style. If you like expresso without the hassle of brewing it, this is the machine. I usually buy the 7.7 oz pods for a full size coffee and program the machine to fill my cup fully. It's quiet and brews in less than a minute. My only complaint is that there is little to no aftermarket pod support for this so you probably won't find your favorite coffee for this but after using this for a while, the Vertuo pods are some of the best you can get.

Disappointing machine, unreliable

Very disappointed in our nespresso virtuo. Didn't last 2 years, and wasn't used enough to be broken already. Unit needs to be cleaned every time we use it lately and as of today it won't work even after cleaning cycles it still flashes clean light. Unit has a 1 year warranty but the brand and cost implies that the machine should last a little longer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Waist of money

After couple of month our first machine broke (we only used it as once in a while for afternoon coffee- as we prefer fresh brewed coffee in the morning). I got a replacement machine that again broke after a year of using- similarly this machine was not used everyday. It started with leaking water- we used the descaling solution and cleaned the machine. After making one cup of coffee the machine again said it was dirty- I did cleaned it again thinking maybe it was not done right. But the cleaning message keeps appearing after each cup of coffee…definitely will not recommend this one. Waist do money

Wish the machine was as good as the coffee taste!!

I would like to start by saying how much I love Nespresso. Unfortunately, 2 Vertuo Next later and its broken again. My first one was a gift and started leaking water everywhere in the first 3 months. I called and troubleshooted and they sent me a replacement. 2nd machine worked for just over a year and same thing, water everywhere. Now it wont even brew. Turns on and nothing happens. my mom has had her original machine for 4 years and still works amazing. I just think this unit was not made correctly.

We recommend running a priming cycle once a week through your machine, to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body, and aroma in each brew.
