Terrible machine

This machine isn't worth your time or money. The coffee is good and the customer service team is also solid - however, the machines are sub-par and ever in need of a complex cleaning and descaling system. I had one go bad, they sent another and it went bad it two weeks. I am now looking for another company.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend running a priming cycle once a week through your machine, to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. This is by far my favorite coffee maker I have ever owned! The flavors of coffee and variety they offer are outstanding and I don't find it that much more price wise for the quality!

Could use some improvements

I love the product for what it is but it has some issues. I’m currently on my second one, a replacement. My first Vertuo Next had some problems out the box, it wouldn’t “brew” when I first hit the button, I’d sometimes have to do it at least three times to get a cup of coffee. Also, you’re supposed to be able to connect via Wi-Fi, didn’t work then and still doesn’t work. I got my replacement because my first one started leaking water, so far so good in that aspect.

It works

… but it does leak. I keep a piece of paper towel in the cache where the used pods go because thats where Ive seen water. I am able to make all kinds of drinks with this. I do enjoy the aesthetic of it all too. These pods can be expensive but not as expensive as a cup from your favorite coffee house.
