Disastrous

I too ignored the reviews, and was taken in by the aesthetics of the machine and the promise of excellent coffee. In less than two weeks, I am having the same issues as everyone else -- water leaking out of the top of the machine; sometimes it decides to brew coffee, but most of the time -- it just doesn't! Problematic for a coffee maker, considering that is its only job. I am very disappointed, and confused as to how this company appears unwilling or unable to fix these well documented and extensive issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sadness!

I got this as a Christmas present this year, the coffee is really good. I went ahead and bought alot of the pods ($$$). I haven't even used my Nespresso Vertuo month and the machine has started leaking out the side. My kids lost the receipt now they feel bad and I'm out a couple hundred for pods. I read a lot of reviews regarding them leaking and with them being so popular I thought they would have fixed the issue. As of January 25, 2022 the problem still exist. I wish I would have been more cautious.

Worst machine ever

Do not buy this machine, I have had nothing but problems with it and they even sent me a replacement one so I am now on the second machine and it refuses to brew more than one cup of coffee, I had called customer service multiple times and they can always get it to work and then the next day same thing.. refuses to brew coffee and won’t even run a clean cycle but they never have an explanation for me and I shouldn’t have to do a factory reset everyday just to get my machine to work!

Defective After 1 Month of Use!

Made great coffee and foam is the icing that made it look so professional! However, after a month of very minimal usage, it stopped working. (My daughter has the exact same model and uses it daily and still working great! Maybe we happened to have gotten stuck with a dud?) I called the support hotline and the support was great. They did not have my particular color (Black/Gray) available but they will send me a replacement one (Black/Chrome) within 7 days. Phone Support was easy to work with and very courteous! I can't wait to get my replacement and hoping this will last years longer and will be more reliable! Will provide an update on the progress....stay tuned...

Extremely disappointed

I had a terrible experience with mine- it leaks and even after taking great care of it and descaling the coffee tastes like old cigarette water. Not even exaggerating!

Worked for a month

I bought my machine in December and a month later it’s been acting up. It leaks water from the sides and I constantly have to wipe the water under the machine. It also started not responding at all. I wasted so much pods trying to get the machine to work… SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!!

Doesn’t live up to Nespresso Quality

I bought this in November after receiving our first Vertuo machine as a gift and falling in love with the coffee (we have one of the original Nespresso machines that has been a workhorse for us, too). I really like the form factor of the machine and it fits great in my office. Unfortunately, after only a few capsules, we realized this is nothing like our previous machines and experiences. The biggest frustration is how the coffee drips back into the drip tray. If you don’t clean it every 4-5 capsules, you end up with a moldy mess. The other issue is the number of times you have to reset it to keep the consistency with the coffee pour. We’ve had our original machine for over 10 years and have never had to contact support. Our other Vertuo machine is running like a champ. The Vertuo Next is one to avoid.
Note: After these issues, Nespresso customer service is sending us a new machine. Given the reviews I’ve read, though, I’m not overly optimistic.

Poor Design

I am currently on my second machine, awaiting my Third. They warrantied my first machine after it quit working, (solid red light?). Then the second machine they sent me works periodically and leaks water everywhere. I requested a different machine, they said they would warranty. After a month of waiting for the Evolou, I called again and they are out of stock. Soooo I guess I am going to wait for the Vertou hopefully we don’t have the same problems.

We are however, thrilled to learn you were able to speak to a Machine Experts and your machine has been replaced. We recommend running a priming cycle once a week through your machine, to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first.
