Pick Another Machine

I've had this for a year it worked well until it completely stopped responding after a descale. Nespresso's only solution was to replace in a less desirable color/finish. Not only do I have to ship the broken machine back, but the replacement machine has a 6 month warranty instead of the 1 year of the original machine. I'm sure the replacement will also prematurely cease to function. Don't expect this machine to last.

3rd broken Nespresso machine

This is the 3rd Nespresso machine we have. It begun to malfunction with blinking yellow light since month 6. We called support and followed instructions to descale. Originally the problem goes away, but recently the usual tricks no longer works, so we end up with another broken Nespresso machine with still hundreds of unused coffee pods.

Disappointed with clumsy features

This is my fourth Nespresso machine. Yes, it makes excellent espresso. But:
1. It's not tall enough. The other reviews mention it's not tall enough for the iced coffee, but I can't even hold a small strainer above my mug (which is how I infuse it with lavender or cinnamon or anything else I like).
2. The container that holds the used pods isn't transparent and isn't big enough. So either I forget to check it or I'm constantly checking it.
3. The water container isn't big enough. Apparently, the "deluxe" model holds more water. What the heck?
4. The cup holder is so small that my mug hangs over the sides, meaning it's not super stable. Also, where the expresso comes out, that doesn't stick out enough. The whole design is awkward.
5. I bought this machine to save space. But the water tank doesn't swing, so it actually takes up more room than I thought.
Overall, if I had known this ahead of time, I would have gotten rid of our coffee pot and gotten a different machine. It's good espresso, but it's not a pleasure to make it.

We recommend purchasing a capsule drawer to place your machine on, which will allow you to fit and brew a bigger cup/mug for your liking. The capsule drawer will also provide you a space to store your remaining capsules. I love this compact coffee brewer

I love this coffee machine it makes a great cup of coffee. My favorite coffee is the vertuo vanilla roast it so good with my great creamer machine love it . the thing I wish is that it had a bigger water tank. i am living with this it is not a deal breaker because we only have guest occasionaly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for small spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it’s a great machine for my small nyc kitchen. I have had to troubleshoot a few unexplained blinking red lights, and I wish the coffee was hotter.

Stopped working after 4 days

I'm a huge nespresso fan and have had over 4 machines. Never had issues with any of them except this one. On day 4 it stopped working properly. It either didn't brew, would shut off by itself, brewed too much or didn't brew the full amount. Very disappointing.

Consistent Problems with Vertuo working

I love Nespresso and this machine when it is working. I had issues with my first model and had to send it back in, and when I received my second machine, it worked for a few months, only to now not work after a few months. The coffee and espresso is great, yet, I am super disappointed in how this machine constantly stops working and won't function after multiple ways to trouble shoot.
