DeLonghi Vertuo Next BAD Machine!

Bought the Vertuo Next after enjoying Nespresso at my sister's house. Learned L8r there are 2 manufacturers (Breville & DeLonghi); ours being made by DeLonghi (the styles between the 2 are slightly different). After 2 months of struggling with leaks, constant "unable to recognize pod" errors, constant rinsing after 3 or 4 pods to try to recognize pods, small water reservoir, clean up the leaks, empty very small used-pod container before the copious excess coffee leaked therein overflows... it's just a bad machine. 2 stars because on the rare occasion it DOES recognize the pod, it makes delicious Nespresso coffee. Boxing it up & bought a Vertuo Plus by Breville.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this coffee machine as a means to save money and so far it’s been working! I haven’t been to a coffee shop as often as I used to, and overall, the cost for the espresso/coffee pods are a lot but in the long run you save a lot of money. The machine works great, just don’t forget to clean your machine once a week. The pods are great too, but it may take awhile to find the right one for you and your tastes. I got lucky with what I got, but if you don’t like the samples—that is okay. You will find the right flavor or taste soon enough. I love my coffee machine, especially after finding the right pods (the over-ice pods).

Great Machine for To Go Orders from Home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vertuo Next was a Christmas gift for my wife and I a few years ago, when it was released. We've been very impressed with the quality of coffee and the different flavors from all these new capsules. We really enjoy the time it takes to make a to go cup when we head to work. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to try something new. You will not be disappointed. We've already convinced 4 of our friends to get one and they haven't been disappointed either.

Love my Nespresso Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I have used Keurig for many years and the taste just became boring and really just kind of dull. We purchase The Vertuo Plus a month ago and I couldn't be happier. The coffee is amazing and smells wonderful!!
