Great Coffee but the machine never works!

We use this product a lot because we both work from home. We are on our second machine because it seems like this product has a lot of issues. The first one completely stopped working the first 6 months we had it. The second is to the point that I have to go through the "cleaning" process and factory reset for the machine EVERY TIME to brew a pod. It is very frustrating. Will not be getting this machine again.

I regret buying this. I am not in love with the coffee pod selection. I feel the coffee has a weird after taste.

We recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Great coffee, bad design

Bought for XMAS, and it makes great coffee. After the first few times to empty used canister I noticed the plastic holder has 1/2 inch of old coffee inside. Also, after about a month, the machine makes a load roar when it makes coffee. I talked with a guy at the store and he said the Next had these problems. I wish he told us when he sold us the machine. I get about 7.0 oz of coffee per cup, the other 0.7 goes in the "waste can"

Never got it to work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had an espresso maker before and I realize they can be alittle more confusing for the inexperienced. But this machine took confusing to a whole new level. The instructions were not helpful to me whatsoever and I found the app to be more for purchasing things. At the end, I never got it to work and I'm done fooling with it.

Please allow us to provide some user tips that may help. When turning on your machine, allow your machine to warm up. The light will begin to pulse slowly for about 30 seconds, indicating the “warm-up” phase. Once the light is steady the machine is ready for use. Insert your Nespresso capsule, and ensure the lever is fully locked. The lever must go past the lock symbol and there should be a slight click sound when fully locked.
For best maintenance for your Vertuo Next, we recommend to always eject the used capsule after every use, run the Clean Cycle once a week to eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit, and descale your machine every three months. All removable spare parts, including the water tank, should be washed by hand at least once a week.

Not very versatile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I expected much more out of this machine but it stopped working in just a month. Even before, it was a pain just trying to make a cup of coffee too. I don't know if it was just the capsules I used but I did not enjoy the taste one least bit. The capsules are too expensive to be buying all of them to taste test just to see if I can find something suitable to use in this machine since it's not like I could use any other product than the capsules made specifically for this machine.
Pros: Does not take up too much room on my countertop
Cons: Not enough variety of coffee available, Not enough variety of espressos available, Too Expensive, Does not have a built-in milk frother, Bulky, Other

Awesome espresso machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This espresso machine is amazing it brews so fast and tastes amazing. I love to be able to instantly make a Cafe quality coffee in my pajamas. Also there is many ways to make iced coffee with it which is perfect because my husband and I like our coffee completely different.
Pros: Convenient, Wide assortment of capsules to choose from, Easy to Use, Has Delicious Crema, Makes Delicious Espressos, High Quality Machine, Does not take up too much room on my countertop, Makes Delicious Espresso Drinks (Cappuccino, Latte etc.), Appealing Design

They have so many different strengths and taste that you are bound to find one that you like. I like how it is super slim so it doesn’t take up much room on your counter top. Over love this product.
