No hot coffee to enjoy.

Received as a gift from my daughter so I am forced to use it. I still have my Mocha Master which makes super-hot, enjoyable coffee. The Nespresso only makes slightly hot cup coffee which forces me to drink the coffee quickly before it cools off. No chance to enjoy the coffee. My wife adds milk so she must microwave the coffee to get it hot. I did write a review but never heard back. What is the temperature of the coffee coming out of the Nespresso supposed to be?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not a fan of the Vertuo Next:

Wish I would have gotten the original machine again because that was great. This Vertuo Next is not:
1) the lock part is hard to maneuver. It actually hurts my hand to push down & turn the lever so I need two hands to twist it. 2) the water tank is hard to snap in and really hard to pull the tank out. 3) the water tank's location in the back of the machine is awful. It's hard to reach & also because of #2.
Would not buy this; nor recommend.

Still Figuring Out How to Love It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should note that I'm coming from using a French press daily, and wanted something like this for my teen kids to use as they've started drinking coffee occasionally. I like that this makes a single cup of coffee, but I have to press the button 5 or 6 times in a row to get a full cup. I recognize that each time I press it, it's weaker and weaker, but that's fine with me since the coffee is so strong to start with. The direction booklet isn't clear on how I can get a carafe-sized portion made (which says would be 18 oz). Does that require a different sized pod than what came with the product? I don't know, and I can't seem to find these answers on the web. I'm worried about what the overall cost per cup of coffee will be by using this, and would love the option to use refillable pods. I really, really, really like the taste of the various coffees I've tried so far though. The rose gold finish I selected is really quite pretty on my counter as well. Overall I just wish the directions were more clear on how to brew the various sizes.
Pros: Convenient, Has Delicious Crema, Does not take up too much room on my countertop, Appealing Design
Cons: Does not make enough coffee in a cup, Too Expensive

easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is small and very easy to use. All the different pod options and flavors are great to keep on hand so I can offer coffee to company. The Vertuo next is not our primary coffee maker but we use it several times a week when one of wants an extra coffee in the afternoon. The coffee taste great and the espresso is perfect for me. I mainly love how easy it is to use though!
Pros: Convenient, Wide assortment of capsules to choose from, Easy to Use, Does not take up too much room on my countertop

Good but don't last long

Worked fine for a year then started to get some issues. Les than 2 years and it is out of order. The same issues as other are describing . I was hoping for a longer use as we are only 2 of us and drink coffee only few times a week. Will try another model. Hopefully it will last longer.

2nd replacement

This machine has broken on me twice. They offered to replace it again , but don’t have a “refurbished” machine in the color I bought so I had to compromise and get a different one that I’m not happy with. Really a shame cause it’s on stock on the website, not my fault the Nespresso machine keeps breaking but it I’m still the one who needs to compromise on the color.

Vertuo Pop Plus

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Vertuo Pop Plus is a perfect size that will fit almost anywhere for those that are tight on space. It’s beautiful colors and the ability to use the larger Vertuo capsules is one of the reasons I got this. I hope one day they will make the Vertuo Plus machine to be able use the XL capsules too. I Love my Nespresso!

Get a better model

Bought this for my daughter at Christmas. Leaked water everywhere! Exchanged..now the 2nd one is giving trouble too. Get a red light when trying to brew. Have to unplug and plug back in to get to finish. Called Nespresso for the 2nd time about this one. They are going to make me do a live video to show the issue. I just want to return and get a better model. Apparently, all the kinks haven’t been worked out of this new Pop model.
