Defective model

This model of Nespresso has many issues. I had my machine for less than a month and it stopped working. I would not recommend.

THE WORST TRASH EVER

After 4 months, the machine was just brewing a random amount regardless of the barcode information of the pod or it just didn't brew at all. Plus, random color LED indication (yellow, pink, grey, white, purple.....) with random intensities. After struggling for a month with this garbage, I was about to throw it away but for somewhat reason, it suddenly came back to normal, so I kept using it. After another 6 months, this machine is totally crazy right now. When I plug it, it only shows yellow, weak red, or off-LED with repetitive 3 consecutive short vibrations. Who designed this machine to have only a single button for all the operations?? If you cannot make it work, at least place the reset button somewhere in the machine. This machine is ruining my life and is total garbage. Don't buy it.

Difficult to operate.

The open/close latch is extremely difficult to operate. I now have a sprained thumb. Is this a design flaw or did I purchase a damaged machine?

Hard to open capsule holder + too much foam

I bought this about 7 months ago and am very disappointed. First, it is very difficult to open and close the capsule holder. I have to force it, and my 75 year old parents weren't able to do it. Horrible design. Second, the machine produces SO MUCH foam, like 2 inches per cup that I have to scoop out. Do not recommend.

The layer that forms on top of each brewed coffee is a combination of coffee and air called the crema and is naturally created during the extraction process. As each blend brews according to its own unique parameters, there is no way to adjust the amount of crema that forms, however the volume will subside. We recommend folding the crema into your cup to ensure consistency in flavor and temperature. For any machine issues you're experiencing, please call 24/7 for assistance, 800.562.1465.

Lawn Mower Loud and Low Budget Feel

I bought the Nespresso Pop+ to replace my Vertuo Next which bit the dust after about 5 years. I loved the color and compact style of this model, but was very disappointed after the first use. While the machine looks cute, it's VERY loud and sounds like there's a lawnmower in my kitchen when the machine is "working." This is not an exaggeration. The feel of the machine is flimsy, and you really have to push the top down to lock the capsule into place. I am returning it. Don't go for the cute/cheap model; paying a little more for increased quality of machine is worth it. Lesson learned.

I’m really confused by the reviews, I’ve had mine since the first weeks of August of 2021 (it’s now February 2022) and I haven’t ANY issues so far. I don’t have any leaking and it makes my coffee perfectly! Honestly I just cleaned it today because I totally forgot to clean it after the first clean and even with 6 months of not cleaning it it worked just fine! I do make sure to use filtered water as to not cause any damage with hard water! I never read the reviews until now as I’m about to purchase one for my uncle and it goes make me nervous about how well it will last, but honestly as of now it’s a 100/100 for me, I guess we’ll see!
I would recommend this to a friend!
