Inconsistent

Bought this machine because I wanted to have more size options compared to my citiz. Coffee is good and it’s very compact. Was pretty hesitant to buy a vertuo since most reviews were iffy, but I finally pulled the trigger. At first it was awesome, but after 1 week I figured out that every time I load it I have to be careful closing it or else once I start the machine and it shakes and make a louder than usual noise I know the coffee is going inside the capsule receptor instead of my cup, hence wasting coffee. I would say no matter how careful I am loading the capsule, 1 in 5 cups ends up wasted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great machine, worth every penny. Once you figure out your favorite pods, sauces and syrups your coffee will be better than any take out place!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an original capsule Pixie Nespresso machine that we liked to take when we travel . I was looking for a Vertuo machine that would replace this that would mean that we only had to purchase the Vertuo capsules and not the original. This seemed like the same size. Although it is close to the same size, it is a bit bigger and it seems to be louder and heavier than the original. We just returned from a trip with it and it did not handle my Altissio capsules well and I had to use two just to get a decent amount of coffee in my cup. I'll give it another try, but so far not impressed with the machine's operation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi, thank you for your review. We understand that the Vertuo Pop Plus does not meet your expectations as the Pixie did. We’d like to note that they are different technologies and uses different brewing methods. While the Pixie uses a pressure method to brew, the Vertuo Pop Plus uses a rotation brew method, reading a barcode to dispense the coffee/espresso. If the Espresso (1.35 ounce) pour for the Vertuo Pop Plus is too short, you may program your machine to brew the capsule at a larger pour, or brew two capsules to get your desired pour, or you can brew one capsule twice (known as a top off). We recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body, and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. If you need assistance with your Vertuo Pop Plus, please do not hesitate to contact us through our toll-free number, 800-562-1465. Each machine comes with at least a one-year warranty and lifetime troubleshooting assistance. Thanks!

Bad, water accumulate in capsules holder.

I bought it on August, 2024. Bad. Leaking capsules holder and mold and bacteria accumulate in it. Ew...

Thank you for your review, Swang. We understand your chalice collects water and you’ve experienced mold forming in areas of your machine. As part of your machine maintenance, we recommend flushing water through your machine without a capsule using the first-time use steps, at least once a week. This helps flush away any coffee granule buildup from the head of your machine. We also recommend releasing the used capsule into the used capsule chamber immediately after your capsule is brewed, use a damp sponge to wipe away any coffee residue from the rim and chalice, and empty the used capsule container a few times a week. Space saving and convenient

Garbage product

This has to be the worst purchase I've ever made. The machine stopped working within 2 months and when I asked for my money back, the agent was like lets do troubleshot. You seriously think I have not done all of that. Please do not buy this, you will regret.

Great machine, great coffee, not so great recycle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a Vertuo Pop Plus Deluxe. I am very happy with it. It takes up minimal space on my small kitchen counter. There are now a lot of coffee pod choices. I still like a full American size cup of coffee in the morning and the pods for the Colombian and other non-espresso blends are great….as is the amount and the texture of the “crema”. The only draw back is that Nespresso makes if very difficult to recycle the pods. The recycle bag was not offered to me at the Tysons Corner Boutique….now, it seems I can only get ONE recycle bag when I place a new order. This is very inconvenient and a bit too, too bureaucractic.
