Don't buy this phone....

Don't buy this Beautiful and wonderful cell phone, because I bought it and it only lasted 3 months with its flip working, now in less than 3 hours my cell phone started to show some spots in the center of the screen where it folds and then it has 2 black stripes and half of the phone the touch-screen doesn't work! when i bought it i was afraid these screens wouldn't last long, but i didn't know it would be so fast, my cell phone is only 3 months old and it never fell to the floor! now i will send it to samsung and wait more than a week without cell phone..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am on my 3rd phone, my friend is on his 4th, my co-worker is on her 3rd and my niece is on her 2nd. (That's 12 Phones just from people I know!) All of us have experienced the screen coming apart in the middle or the screens just blacking out. These phones arent misused or dropped. Most are stuck paying high deductibles on their phone plans to fix the issue. Cant we just say this is not the greatest quality phone yet, and Samsung needs to get back to the drawing board and correct this? Great concept but very poor quality. We all dont have thousands to shell out on a phone that simply keeps failing....

Rule one of phones. Make sure that it can make calls and receive texts. For one reason or another, texts failed. On two devices. Nope. The hardware isn't bad. The crease is noticeable. Especially if scrolling text-it's like a fun mirror. Less so on videos. It's like they tried to push the "half-fold" feature so hard that the results are a less than ignorable crease. In fact, this is the phone's biggest failure-a feature they did not improve upon since the last model. Samsung focused so much on the bells and whistles, they forgot to take care of what matters. It's like a pretty car that can't go faster than 25mph. The second screen is almost useless. Someone compared it to a smartwatch that's less functional. In fact, the clock on it would freeze all the time. I'd look at it, and it would be up to 10 min behind in always on mode, until I "woke up" the phone. Timers didn't go off unless the phone was open. The snooze or alarm off slider on the second screen was always hit or miss. Not acceptable considering there's only a small handful of "widgets" available on it, and alarm is one of them, it should work. Texting, alarm, clock. These were features on mobile phones long before they were "smart". These are the functions I expect to work on a phone this expensive. This phone was rushed. You can feel it. Hopefully the next one will fix all these issues. This phone just isn't good enough.

Screen Damage after less than 4 months

The fold is good in theory, but the screen protector (if not the screen beneath is trashed at the fold after less than four months of use. Would not recommend this phone under any circumstances. Really disappointed.

I have had a Z Flip3 5G for about a week now and I have to say it is absolutely rubbish which is a great pity. I have had nothing but trouble in switching over apps, including Samsung apps. Currently I have no access to Samsung Pass or to mobile data. The level of help from Samsung has been almost zero. It's a shame because I like how neat the device is, but functionality and reliability makes it unusuable
