Love phone, hate battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The phone is beautiful and I love the way it feels in your hands. It is heavier than my galaxy S20+. Fun phone, camera is good for me, the crease at the fold isn't noticeable to me when using the phone. It's very noticeable when the screen is blank, but this is not an issue. I can not recommend this phone because of the battery life. I have never had a phone drain the battery like this one. I need to charge my phone twice a day to keep using it. I use Spotify and scroll through Twitter. I don't use a lot of apps that would drain the battery. It takes a couple of hours to charge fully also. I would think long and hard before getting this phone. I hate saying that because I have had Samsung phones for a very long time and have always been happy with my phones
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All I can say is that this is a really cool phone. Love the shape, high quality. Like the fact that to see push notifications don't need to open, just swipe the preview window. Fits easily in pocket. Nice big screen when open. Too soon to tell on battery life, as with any new phone have it in use a lot more than normal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been a Samsung user for 5+ years and love that upgrades are always so easy as far as transferring data and general user interface utilization. No issues with the screen or the fold seem. Battery life seems a little weak but overall it's great

Excellent gimmick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Top heavy, feels like it topples over. hard to reach full height of phone one-handed. Aspect ratio is weird to the point that you lose video viewing size from similarly sized phones due to the width not being appropriate for the height. Weird cutout on the left of the phone presumably for 5G antennae. Poor water/dirt resistance. Sturdy build quality. I miss the under screen fingerprint detector. Volume rocker feels too short; I'm never confident if im hitting the top or bottom half. Maybe a divider line could fix this. However I have never pressed it incorrectly so it's more of a feel thing. Battery life is non existent for today's standards. The top gets hot. I assume most of the heat creating hardware is at the top to avoid the bend and this makes it cramped and prone to overheating. It is not a problem for everyday use. No SD card expansion slot. The phone is so thin when open that it feels insecure in my hand. A proper case fixes this problem. Functions for the secondary display are limited and feel as gimmicky as the folding itself. I find myself leaving it unfolded most of the time. It probably takes some getting used to. I believe it is more suited as a novelty or for women with small purses who often can't fit today's standard size phones. There aren't a lot of indispensible/practical uses for the device's folding property. The finish is beautiful. The fact that it has glass all over scares me a little bit but has the effect of looking and feeling premium. Truly an excellent option apart from the flagship S Model. Would like to see a telephoto lens added to it. It was probably left out because this bad boy's top piece looks to be filled to the brim. I like the device and it feels very much like a flagship finished product but it has the same price of the S with some useful features torn off for the sake of folding it. If looks are what you want in a phone then look no further. If you are performance/feature oriented the this is arguably(some of my complaints, like telephoto lens, are features that some might never use) not the phone for you.

The first phone I've enjoyed in years BUT

I've had the phone for a month +now and not gonna lie it's hard to put down. The battery is bad but manageable however the camera is terrible. Gives very much 2015 camera quality. Should slap a s22 camera on the flip 4.

It's OK technology but it's not worth it

Like I said, I think the technology behind the fold screen is cool, but this phone is not worth having it. I regret trading my note 10 for this phone a million times. I had for 5 months and pixels in the crest started to go bad, Samsung replace it for another one. The battery live is extremely bad compared to last few phones I had in the past

Amazing phones but..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pre-ordered it got here and few days later is when all the magic kind of went away when I learned the hard way that there was no more MST ( MAGENETIC STRIP TRANSMITTER)was stuck there wondering why I wasn't able to purchase like every other time with my note 9 and I didn't have cash or physical credit on me so I had to call my spouse and have them bring me my choice of payment so now I'm limited to which stores I can use my what use to be and awesome samsung pay to mediocre pay
