Poor filter design

We stayed at a friend's house that had an electrolux washer and dryer that were amazing. They were several years old so when I wanted the same we had to purchase the current version. They were both a disappointment but the worse was the dryer. The product design department created what they call a clam lint filter. The way it is designed it has vents that lies flat at the bottom of the dryer door. If you have a light load of anything, articles of clothing gather on top of the filter vents and stay there. The dryer runs for what seems like forever and when it does stop, the clothes are still damp from the suctioned clothes blocking the vents. It is a poor design and needs to be fixed. What they need to do is design a filter whose top is angled so that the clothes cannot get sucked onto and lodged on top of the lint filter vents. I would buy it in a heartbeat. Instead I will have to take a loss on this set and sell them. I cannot stand vigil on my dryer. It really is upsetting. I will never buy elctrolux again if they do not fix this filter soon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fluffy towels

I bought my gas dryer to go in my new condo laundry room. I have been so impressed with my towels being really fluffy and all my wash coming out less wrinkled. Some of the sheets almost appear as if they've been ironed. Happy, happy, happy with my laundry pair of electrolux machines.

Large capacity, great features

I have owned this dryer for over a year. We have a large family so we needed a large capacity machine that would be a workhorse. We are very pleased with the dryer and its features. It is also reasonably quiet, which is a plus.
