Dryer died after 2nd load

Not working from onset

I bought this brand new 3 weeks ago , still waiting for the opportunity to use this since it needed a new main board right out of the gate. I am sure this will be great when it’s fixed but not a good first impression.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Like the various features especially pod option

I like the washer. Not sure about the dryer. Small loads and small items get stuck on the wide edge where the lint catcher is and they don't get dry. They end up not going around and around and sit on the wide ledge. Especially tee shirts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Uneven drying,wrinkling. Clothes hang on lint trap

Model EFMG527UTT gas dryer. A couple downsides we've experienced. Foremost, when drying small loads, clothes tend to get hung up on top of the clamshell lint trap next to the door. That means they don't tumble, don't dry and come out wrinkled. We've also had problems with clothes coming out excessively wrinkled and still partially damp. We haven't used the steam features much simply because - IMO - a dryer shouldn't need steam to prevent clothes from wrinkling. I think it is the shape of the fins within the drum that may be the culprit. Finally the unit's auto sensor for sensing dampness/dryness doesn't work well. Many times we need to run the same load over and over again to get it dry... we'll set the dryer on normal to run for 47 minutes (based on the unit's timer)... we come back 15 minutes later and he unit has shut off and the clothes are still damp. All told, we're disappointed given the price and will probably look to return and replace.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Some tips that can assist with your clothing items not drying properly is to shake the clothing before putting them into the dryer. You want to prevent from throwing in lumps of wet clothing. Ensuring that the air fluff and no heat options (if available on your model) are not selected. Also, the steam feature aids in reducing wrinkling, ironing and static cling.

I was looking forward to many new features on my new electrolux dryer. However, the door, when closed, makes a pocket in the dryer and all the clothes gravitate to this pocket and get all twisted up in the front of the dryer. So, when I open the dryer door, all the clothes fall out on the floor and are all wrinkled. The washer works great
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
