Love it dries quickly & quietly

Electrolux Front Load Dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is OK. The dryers takes about double the time to dry a load of clothes as the washer takes to wash them. Often takes two cycles to actually get the clothes dry - especially towels and jeans. Yes I am cleaning the vent after each load.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Please ensure not to overload your dryer. Make sure to leave room for the items in the dryer to tumble freely. This will help avoid damp areas on your clothing. It's recommended to fill the drum 1/3 to 1/2 way full.

Very quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaces a 17 year old Whirlpool Duet. If you have wall cabinets above, make sure that you are aware that the bases for these are substantially taller than on older models. operation is very quiet - as is end of cycle signal.

The only reason I’m not giving it a 5 star rating is because the controls are difficult to see. It would be helpful if the panel was backlit.

Perfect Pair!

Solid Machine but Loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like our new dryer and all the different settings. My only problem is that this was sold to us as having "master bedroom guarantee": you could put these machines next to a bedroom and you wouldn't know they're on. That is NOT the case with either this or the washer. While they are effective at what they do and have nice features, these machines are LOUD. We have them in a room off of the family room and need to close that door whenever we run wash and dry loads. I still recommend these machines, but don't think that you're getting quiet machines.
