Simple, but efficient!

I bought this a month ago, as my dryer stopped heating. I am very pleaseds with how simple the buttons are and yet how easily it dries.

Needs two cycles to dry clothes

THis dryer is okay but takes two cycles most of the time to get clothes dry. It's prety quiet and I like the simple design.

KLM1, I am dismayed to hear your dryer is not drying as well as you expected. Please ensure the exhaust duct requirements have been met. Check that the outside exhaust duct is not clogged or restricted. If your dryer is connected to a 208 volt circuit, your drying time will be 20% longer than drying on a 240 volt circuit. Clean the lint filter with hot soapy water to remove any fabric softener film that could decrease airflow. Only problem is the dryer doesn't pick up lent well at all.

I am sad to hear of your frustrations with lint, cathy123. Sometimes overloading and/or over drying can contribute to lint. Please ensure the lint screen is clean when the cycle starts. Make sure the exhaust duct requirements have been met. Check that the outside exhaust duct is not clogged or restricted. Using fabric softener in the washer or dryer will reduce static electricity so lint is less likely to cling. Some fabrics are more likely to attract lint, and some are more likely to deposit lint. Washing and drying these fabrics separate from each other will help also. You will find more trouble shooting tips on page 21 in your Owner’s Manual. Good dryer

I brought this item as a set, washr/dryer, about a month ago. The dryer is quiet. There are features for drying towels, wrinkle release and economy. It drys quickly. The dryer that I am replacing lasted for 19 years. Can I hope for the same?

An appliance repair man who worked on my dishwasher told me that if I needed a new washer and dryer I should get Electrolux. He said that they need the least service calls. After about a month I’m very pleased. The first week I couldn’t get my clothes to come out totally dry but finally figured out that I needed to turn off the eco setting. Live and learn.
