Not much water in Wash Cycle

Hello. This unit was installed yesterday. As I loaded and set this very simple to use washer I stood and watched the wash cycle noticing that a grey shirt... some of the shirt was wet, some of it was still dry. I went and got a flashlight and noticed hardly any water is in the tub. Yet in the rinse cycle the water in the tub was much more filled. Has anyone had water level issues at different cycles?

Hi SunnyV!
We understand your concern with not seeing as much water in your washer.
A full-size front load washer uses only 20 to 25 gallons. Front load washers always fill the the same low water level during the wash cycle no matter how many clothes are loaded into the washer.
The water is added to the drum during the tumbling action of the clothes to rapidly saturate the clothes so that less additional water must be added; which is normal.
We’ve purchased Electrolux washer and dryer stackables. They are simple to operate, quite and clean well. I have confidence in the quality of the product and company. Thank you so much. Melanie Bacon
I received this as a wedding gift about two months ago (been using for one month), and I am very pleased with its features and efficiency. It is easy to use and clean. Very spacious inside as well!
I am very happy with my dryer. Dries clothes efficiently and throughly, can't ask much more. One issue, though really not much of a problem, is the lint catcher. You have to open it up to remove line and we have pinched our fingers a few time because there is no easy way to open or close without your fingers around :).
