Not a good buy nor a good experience

Poor price, poor build - should have been redesigned as a 6x6 and control app will be out dated soon and no longer supported.

Phone remote EWW

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely freaking hate the fact that I need to use a touch screen to control my RC car. There's a reason nobody else does this. It's gimmicky and not practical at all. I would throw thousands into all the new models, but the phone Controller is YUCK!!!!! Give me a good Ole joy stick controller and you would have at least one more happy customer, but probably many!!!

Fun to build but not fun to play with

Good build but it's super slow and can't even crawl over small obstacles. The main reason I got it was for it's "crawling ability". false advertising!

Very interesting new set

For those on the fence, go for it. The value for money is way higher than most control+ sets, as you have more pieces than most except the Liebherr, better power, more interesting build techniques and the new AR mode in the app. The live rear axle and locking mechanism for the differentials were very simple yet new ideas in this set for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst Lego Set Ever

The high number of stickers in Lego sets recently is disappointing, but this set takes that to another level. The build was interesting but once complete it drives slower than my 8 month old son crawls. I have never been so disappointed with a Lego set. Based upon the price point, advertising it as a remote control, and the flimsy design, the set came nowhere near meeting expectations. I personally will not be taking a chance on future Technic sets and recommend everyone stay away from this set.

Missing piece

I just recently bought this set and started working on it right away when I got home. The first two bags were really fun to build and see all of the details and different functions of everything. Once I got to the third sets of bags though, I found out I was missing a crucial piece to make it run at all and I could not find it anywhere. I’m sure that I would increase my rating if only I could find that piece. Until then, I’m stuck…

Defiantly more advanced then previous set of MB Unimog. That's what great about Lego. Not duplicating but making it more complex. Great set.
