I bought a Tineco floor cleaner for my home and loved so much I bought the S5 Smart Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner for my office. My workers love this machine. It really does an awesome job cleaning the floors.
The Tineco S5 is so much easier to use than our prior floor cleaners, due to it propelling itself and being cordless/lighter. It does a good job without putting a lot of liquid on the floors. It cleans close to walls and edges. Love the self cleaning process and app. The battery lasted for my whole main level (mostly hardwood and tile) but I did have to refill the clean water tank before finishing. It’s recommend you use only Tineco cleaning solution, but just a capful is needed for each tank full. It only vacuums up dirt while going in a forward motion. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase.
I have had my tineco since November 2020. I have 4 kids, 1 Boxer and 2 long haired cats. I run my roomba daily to help with pet hair and I use my Tineco 1-2x a day or more. I like a clean floor and so after watching many videos online I decided to give in. I loved it so much initially but like others said if you have pets beware. The days the roomba is “lost” and Dosent get to pre-sweep will cause a clog in the Tineco and I know it as soon as I have streaks in the middle. I generally will stop unclog and keep going. I can clean my entire bottom floor in about 30 minutes and 3-4 DWT empty’s . (1500ish sqft) we have a combo of tile and LVP. 4/6 of our family are girls and wee to like the animals shed. So in addition to the pet hair going in my daughter’s bathrooms will for sure cause A clog and a tangled mess around the roller. I will say this is not a cleaning tool for people who clean 1x a week or for stuck on gunk. It will not clean your floor or pick up the gunk. This is for the people who use it as a daily cleaner or in between cleaner. I have missed a day or 2 and standing over the area is quite tedious. Tinico says you have to use their cleaner or you void something in the fine print. When I purchased mine they were sold out of the cleaner everywhere for a long time and that was quite frustrating. Just remember to clean out the tank or it will get FuNKY and the next run will smell your whole house. I’m not sure if the age of the product or if it’s humidity in my area but my device won’t charge or register it’s on the base. I noticed both were rusted. Seems like if the product is made to be wet and get wet it would have a better safe guard or protection for the areas that should not get wet.
Worth every penny. Makes sweeping/mopping so much faster. Even my skeptical husband wants to buy his mom one for mother's day. I just wish the tanks were a little bigger because I do have to dump and refill when doing my entire house.
I haven't been able to figure everything out yet. I think that I love it, but I'm not sure. I haven't been able to figure out how to use just the vacuum, but the wet mop function works really well. It doesn't leave the floor wet....just slightly damp. Not sure if I can leave it in charging mode all the time.....many questions that I need to talk with a rep about.
