won't heat up

We bought this because Black and Decker is supposed to be a good name in small appliances but when we tried using it tonight and followed the not very good instructions and couldn't get the oven to cook frozen French fries at all, the oven wouldn't heat up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Top of frozen dish overcooked/reheating problems

First, the good part!: it bakes pizza very well.
However, when baking a frozen dish, following the manufacturer's instructions, the top is overcooked and dry. If I lower the temperature, part of the dish is not warm enough. Second problem is with reheating a dish: if a set the temperature above 250, same problem as with frozen food; at 250, it is barely warm after 30 minutes.
Would appreciate advice on this. Thanks

Ultimate disappointed

I brought this product a month ago and was pretty excited to be able to use it as another means to cook, considering I am living in an extended stay hotel with only two burners to cook.
I decided to cook a small turkey breast. Following the mediocre instructions that was provided, I still had a dry and burnt turkey breast. Setting the oven between 300 and 350 and the top of the breast not touching the top heaters, I did not think it would burn nor dry out the breast. I was disappointed and had to settle for something else.
I decided to try a pizza on a different occasion and once again my food was burnt and this time under cooked. Not sure if I want to attempt to use it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Exterior dimensions??

Dear Black & Decker: Many of us have small kitchens with limited counter space. Why do you fail to show the exterior dimensions of your toaster ovens on this website? Those figures are as basic, and as important, as the interior depth and width and the wattage.

Very unimpressed

Bought this last week and not really happy. Even with the small slices of bread, six won't fit. Baking evenly is not going to happen. B and D used to be a great brand, now fails miserably.

bought three days ago.... couldn't be more disappointing in the lack of control..the three dials are a mess. Owners manual.. really?

Some safety complaints, controls not ideal

Check online for safety complaints including fire and broken glass. Convection fan is noisy. Convection fan can't be controlled separately. The model number is not on the toaster oven - only the box. "Interteck 3073283" appears on the bottom but no other model number.

Compared to my previous toaster oven, this one warms up and cooks so much faster. It includes two racks, drip pan and cooking tray.
