This B&D convection countertop oven is very easy to use, with only three knobs controlling the functions. No need to become a computer programmer to learn how to use it. Oven temperatures are fairly accurate. The unit looks nice, and is pretty sturdy. The crumb tray is easy to clean. Racks are not strong enough to be abused, but serviceable for normal cooking needs. At one-third the cost of the bells-and-whistles brands, this toaster oven does essentially they do; cooks food, without having to heat a large oven. This unit is sized properly for countertop use. It's perfect for snacks, fish sticks, toast, rolls, and other small items. I am pleased with its form, function, utility, and ease of maintenance.

Awesome Toaster Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my new toaster oven for about 3 weeks now. This toaster oven is amazing it gets the job done. I have a family of 7 so sometimes cooking a fast meal can still take a while until I got this toaster oven. My cooking time on busy days is now cut in half, I can cook 2 of the 12 inch pizzas at once which is a life saver in my house. This toaster oven cooks fast and get the food done evenly I don't have to worry about one side of our pizza not being done and one side being burnt I love it. I have cooked chicken nuggets , pizza , corn dogs , hot ham and cheese sandwiches, toast and even meat in my toaster oven. Another great thing for me is it's so easy to keep clean and it has a nice size bread crumb tray I just pull it out from the bottom dump it and wipe it down so easy. There are dials for the bake time , how long you want to cook your food and even a dial for baking , toasting etc it really has made things so much easier. This toaster oven works so well I could not be more happy with it. The cord is perfect length and it really doesn't take up a lot of counter space. We have a gas oven so this toaster oven not only makes cooking easier and faster but it saves me money too. I would recommend purchasing this toaster oven if you want your cooking life to be much more convenient.

All in one!!

This sweet baby keeps you from having to heat your whole house like you would with a regular oven and uses less electricity!! I love this thing!!!

Directions not very concise

We are experimenting with the oven and we like it so far. The only thing is the vague and weird directions. Very confusing and not helpful. We did not figure out how to turn it on until by accident. We later found how in and IMPORTANT section. Did not think to look there because we thought it was warnings about safety. Directions really need to be specific about how to operate it. We almost returned it thinking it did not work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So Iopportunity to try out a Black & Decker convection counter top oven. I wasn't sure about it at first since it's a little bulky but aside from that I am sold on this product. This product has given me what I'd like to call a was blessed with the mom . What I mean by that is my kids love cooking with it. Its so simple for them to cook a frozen pizza, some French fries, fried fish, or to even warm up left overs like fried chicken. Now my kids are 11 and 13 so I'm comfortable letting them use it while I'm home. Its so simple and not as scary as a regular oven for them. As for myself. I love how easy it is to clean or how convenient it is to add a quick broil to a steak. This has become a household staple and I can't believe I've gone this long in life without one!

Cooks Faster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently was sent this item to try out and just did that. My first item I really wanted to make in the Black and Decker - 6 Slice Convection Countertop Oven was a pizza, of course!
When I first got the pizza out I was worried it wasn't going to fit in the oven, however, looking at the back of the oven I found there to be plenty of room as Black & Decker has pushed out the back of the unit to make room for all your big pans, and pizzas.

Upon cooking the pizza I found the first problem, hot spots, and burning. There were parts of my pizza that were fine, but other parts had black spots. This should not happen in a convection oven. Not sure what happened but its not cool.
I have yet to bake a cake in there but will update this when I do.
As far as the other features, knobs and what not. All of that is very easy to use with no problems.
