[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this a month ago and absolutely love it! I love that you can fit a whole medium sized pizza in it and get it nice and crispy without turning the house into a hot sauna.I haven't tried baking in it, but definitely will try it out soon. I love it for making baked fish, burritos, and other quick snacks. The only thing I have issue with is there are some areas that are harder to clean. When you pull out the drip/crumb tray there are times where the crumbs stay behind when you pull the tray out. Other than this, it's pretty simple and easy to use and much more convenient. I would definitely recommend trying it out for yourself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally a convection oven that works like it should! I love that I can set the temperature &time & walk away! It's so easy to operate that even my teenage son uses it often, he loves that he can fit a whole pizza in it and it comes out crispy and golden brown. The slide out tray on the bottom makes clean up super easy. It's small enough to fit on my counter but big enough to feed my family of 3! We use it more than our microwave. Buy it....it's worth it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a great little toaster oven, it cooked food quickly and evenly. Works just as good as an oven. It has bake and broil and both work great. I really like that once the timer goes off the oven turns off so you don't have to rush and grab your food out. Also it's really easy to clean out!

But.....

I bought this yesterday and read the "instruction manual" that came with it. I like the machine, BUT...this is the worst manual I've ever seen. At best, it is vaguely helpful! Their website is not much better! Most of this manual tells you what you shouldn't do, like: "Do not touch hot surfaces." "Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: paper, cardboard, plastic, and the like." And then there is my all time favorite: "To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs or appliance in water or other liquid." I got some good information from people that commented on their experience and problems. One person tried cooking a 12" pizza. She said it fit in the oven but did not cook evenly! The B&D website indicated that you should not to cover the rack with aluminum foil or it will cause overheating and poor cooking results. After looking in my oven, I came to the conclusion that a 12" pizza will almost cover the entire rack and therefore result in "overheating and poor cooking results". Don't get me wrong, I like this machine but the manual is very little help in actually using it. In fact, I don't think the people that wrote the manual ever tried cooking anything in it!

I purchased this product the other day after my toaster oven died. Brought it home plugged it in and warmed up a hot Pocket, worked perfectly. Then yesterday decided to try to bake a chicken, other than the back part of the breast was to close to the heating elements on top and got the skin crispy burnt it came out surprisingly well. Was juicy so was the white meat. The skin on the rack didn't get crispy. That's ok had baked chicken in under an hour and clean up was a breaze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for a couple of weeks now, but have used it almost every day! With all of the features (toast, bake, broil), I've replaced several of my other kitchen appliances. No need to heat the oven just for garlic bread anymore! My teen is also finding this to be easy to use, he's actually told me to throw the old toaster out!
It is a bit large (which I wanted) so if you don't have much counter space, I'd recommend a smaller version.

Many Capabilities in a (Relatively) Small Package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from the Spectrum Brands First Look program. I had never owned any kind of toaster oven before so I was excited to give this one a try. With this oven, you have most of the capabilities of a regular oven, just in a smaller size. I attached a picture of where I set the oven up, which is on a standard chest freezer. You can bake and broil, as well as toast and just keep warm. One of my favorite things to do is bake so I tried a few different things under the bake setting. First I baked a tray of cookies and then I filled the tray that comes with the oven with a cake batter and baked that. I found that it took about the same amount of time to bake the cookies as it would in my standard oven. As for the cake, it was done in about 12 minutes. I also made some pizza rolls and found I was surprised how fast they crisped up. Another feature I tried was the Warm feature to heat up some bread I had baked in my standard oven a couple days before. I found it did a good job of warming it up without making it overly crispy like would happen in the standard oven. Overall I would say this is a great product to have if you have the space and need for it. I personally don't have the space to keep it out all the time. But I will bring it out when I want to make a small batch of cookies or cake, if I want to make really crispy snacks, or if I am making dinner for a crowd and need some extra oven space to keep food warm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time owning a toaster oven, so I wasn't sure what to expect. After a little trial and error on my part I figured out the perfect way to cook a frozen pizza in this, which was the main reason for trying this. I was worried about dripping so I tried to do it my way, but in the end the manual was correct on how to do it. Lesson learned.
This thing bakes, broils and toasts very well. You can hear the timer tick if near and the ding is loud enough for me to hear it in the other room. And I love how much this is saving me by not having to heat up my oven.
The only changes I would make is the knob notch should just be a line or go all the way down the knob side so I can be more precise with the temperature. Also the manual says to preheat but if you do that, and put it on recommended baking time you'll probably overcook whatever is in there. All I did was turn it on, stick the food in there, set recommended time and it came out just right. It's also on the bigger side but what do you expect for something that will fit a frozen pizza!
