Its a bit more complicated than my older Tiger steamer. We are not used to it and I've messed up my rice pretty bad. I'm hoping that over time I will figure out how to use it.

Thank you for your feedback! If you are used to a conventional rice cooker then it does require one more button press. All you would need to do is select the menu setting and then press start and the rice cooker will start the cooking setting and alert you once it's done.
