Perfect rice every time. I recently purchased the Umami model and have used it a couple of times. Easy to use . I love it! It was a replacement for my older 20+ years Zojirushi rice cooker.

So far it has made well cooked and not mushy basmati, short grain, brown and sweet rice. The approximated finished times have not been too far off. The pot and lid are easy to clean.

awesome rise cooker I've ever used. I really enjoy the rise smell when it is working. But I just have one concern about the coating inside that may cause some disease such as gene mutation or cancer. Why to use stainless steel material for the inner tank? If so the cooker will be perfect!

The inner pan has a non-stick coating containing PTFE- a material commonly used for non-stick coating in cookware for conventional kitchen use (FDA approved).
