Very powerful chainsaw for it's weigh and size. Much better than gas powered chainsaws in its class.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second review of this saw. Now that I’ve used it several times I want to praise the cutting power of this Saw. In my first review, I focused on the ergonomics. The saw feels a little bit bulky. The price of this saw is excellent and if you were buying it, I would suggest getting the 4AH battery.

80v 18in chain saw

It works well (very simple) but the weight distribution isn’t great for limbing at shoulder height or higher. It does seem to really go through chain oil and continues to have it leak when not running so make sure to store it without chain oil in it or put a rag under the chain housing.

I've been using this for a few years now and it has held up well. There is a bit of a learning curve. You need to allow the saw to do the work, if you force it the chain can bind or come off. You need at least two batteries and ideally three for continuous operation. Customer support is decent and have helped me with replacement nuts for the cover

I love it. I have several greenworks tools. However this is the second time pieces are missing. No tools and no oil cap on chainsaw. Poor quality control.

Poor packaging

Ordered the tool only. It arrived loose in the box (no packaging inside the box to secure the chainsaw) as if someone just threw it in a box and shipped it. When you spend that kind of money on a product you expect a lot more care than that. Fortunately the chainsaw wasn’t damaged.

Hello B chase,

Thank you for your feedback! Chains stretch with use. When new, they stretch more. The tension on a new or newish chain should be checked and tightened every 20 minutes of cutting or so, it can get away from you fast. This is normal stretching. Tension techniques can be found in the owner's manual. If you require additional assistance, please contact us directly at 1-888-909-6757 and we will provide an instructional guide to help you navigate the tension on your chain. We look forward to speaking to you.
