Easy dethatching.

Very simple to use for an average size yard like mine. Light weight and no problems handling it compared to others I have rented. Just remember to disengage the time when turning so you don't scalp your yard.

Never dethatched my lawn before and it definitely needed it. I could see all the dried dead grass blocking the soil. Raking by hand never seemed to get it up. This dethatcher was the answer. Started at the lowest setting and quickly realized I needed to go the lowest depth. Made a couple passes while raking a pile of dead grass in between each one. Had a few piles each time. Grass looked much cleaner right after. I fertilized right after and a couple weeks later, lawn looks much better. The extension cord is kind of a pain to deal with but manageable. Took a while to rake the yard after each pass. Next time, I may just use my lawnmower with the bag on the pick up the thatch. Overall, this is a great buy.

THe dethatcher works well, easy to handle and store. Plenty of replacement parts in case the prongs go.

This is a good tool for the money, it really did a decent job on my lawn. It would be 5 stars if offered in 80V instead of corded.

This unit is awesome! I would highly recommend this to anyone willing to DIY, it is a great tool and removes more thatch than just normal raking. I am glad I purchased this unit!

Love my new detacher!

This dethatcher works terrific on my zoysia grass, removing a huge amount of dead thatch without hurting the green grass at all. Just be sure to follow the instructions’ warning not to pull the detacher backwards while running, as that will create a bald spot. Other than that, works great and easy to operate.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet

Great dethatcher for the price

For those interested in country of origin, this unit was made in CHINA.
Looking for a realistically priced dethatcher to be able to do yearly work not being done very well by the pull along attachment to my lawn tractor. This does do a decent job.
Instruction manual leaves out a few items:
1. How to install the cable clips.
2. Need to thread the cord retainer before attaching the Lower Handle.
The unit turned up a lot of thatch on the first patch of 10' x 10'. Very impressed.
The extension cord retainer is a good idea, but turns become difficult with it on the lower handle. I moved it to the center of the upper handle and for me it is an improvement.
Points to Greenwork for including another set of tines.
Pros: Easy to Use, Powerful
