It really worked well including removing moss. The rear wheels could be bigger so it's easier to push from one area to the next. The cord can be a nuisance but I'd rather have a corded unit. You need a 14 gauge extension to go 100 ft and a 12 gauge extension cord to go 150 ft.

Great quality for the price. Simple design, easy to use. It really gets a lot of thatch out and is easy to control. It's almost self guided as the tines slightly pull it forward while in use.

This dethatcher is very light and very ergonomic. Pushing only forward doesn’t grab too much debris but when moving back and forth it’s amazing to realize how much stuff come out.

died after 1 use-replacement sent is missing parts

I bought this and after the first use the motor quit. Greenworks was great and sent a new unit out. The new unit was missing parts, one screw that I couldn't find at a hardware store. I waited on hold for over an hour, explained what I needed, received the replacement parts which were incorrect, they sent bolts. Now I will need to sit on hold for another hour to get the correct screws???
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointed

I just bought this machine and was not happy with it. The tines dug into the ground and pulled up too much good grass. I was hoping the tines would not damage the ground Worst of all, customer service would not let me return it since the package had been opened.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dethatching is less aggressive and removes small amounts of thatch from a lawn that is mostly healthy.
