It lights up when it’s ready to use, I got the hang of how to use it pretty fast. I am already noticing that my legs are feeling smoother. I’m am so happy I discovered this, it’s going to add so much more free time back to my life.

Braun - New Silk Pro 5 Laser Hair Removal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I heard about this Braun Pro 5 Laser hair removal, I HAD to have it. I was very excited when I received it and wanted to use it to get rid of unwanted hair easily. As I never had any type of hair removal device other than razors, I wanted to read the directions very carefully and use it correctly. The directions were perfect, the device was made so durable and easy to use. It had three different sized heads which was ideal to use in all areas. I must say my skin feels so much smoother. After using it for a approximately a week I saw results and, can say my face has minimal peach fuse and other areas as well. I am so thrilled about that. This Braun Pro 5 IPL is just perfect and easy to store and ready for use for my next session. I LOVE it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good device, feels like it’s lacking info

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this device for a few weeks now and I’m starting to see results. It is easy enough to use, but it feels like a lot of learning needs to happen to use this thing correctly. It has a fairly lengthy list of cautions in the instructions, but I have found a lot more information on the internet about tips and tricks for using an IPL. It goes get pretty hot, makes sense, but is sort of disconcerting. The case is very nice and it looks very high end overall.

In case this helps, the Braun Silk-expert IPL Pro 5 has an overheating protection function. If the device gets too hot, it will slow the shot rate. If the device is still too hot, it will shut down automatically. Once it has cooled down, the device can be switched on again.
Otherwise, you can also reduce the energy via the ‘feather-button’. If you have any other concerns, we're happy to hear from you at (800) 272-8611.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i am using this on my legs and underarms as well as my husbands neck. so far we have seen some results, you can manage the laser so it is not as painful for your first few treatments. we love it! recommend.

Additionally, we don't recommend men use the device on their facial/neck hair as this may lead to uneven results. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not going to lie, when I first received this tool, I was intimidated. It has the appearance of a professional grade laser treatment, and I felt almost unqualified to use it. The directions make it seem so simple, but still I pressed on in my education by watching several videos on its use. Turns out it really is as simple to use as it appears. And it's effective! I've used it 3 times so far and have noticed a difference on my typically fine, blonde leg hair. I want to try on more sensitive areas next!

Can tell a difference!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I have very course, thick black hair and I am olive complected. Definitely recommend making sureyour skin type/shade works with the device first before purchasing. I have done 3 treatments so far, each a week apart and made sure I shaved well before doing each treatment and I can definitely tell a difference after that 3rd treatment. It’s been a week since I shaved last and my hair is just now barely starting to come out again. If you’re worried about how this feels, don’t be. I was scared a bit when I first tried it but it just feels like a quick warming sensation. You definitely get used to it better by doing the gliding method since it continuously fires off. It seems like the darker your skin, the higher it cranks up the level. I accidentally ran it over my tattoo and it zapped me pretty good. It also has 3 other tips depending on the areas of your body you’re using it on. I’ve just used the one that came with it so far. Overall I’m very pleased with the device and excited for the end result in a few months. Definitely recommend as long as you’re patient and plan on sticking with the upkeep treatments.
