Definitely works for less hair growth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having used Gillette Venus Silk-expert four times over the last month, I have to say there is a significant difference. My hair is at least 50% less on my legs and almost non-existent in my arm pits. I am finding that I think less about needing to shave now. There is still no pain with use, and the wand is as simple to use as before. I am completely sold on this product for reducing hair growth.

Is this real life?

I was seriously thinking of getting laser hair removal in a few places because I am horrible about shaving. I love when winter rolls around and I can hide my hairy areas away for the season and not have to worry about shaving as often. When I was invited to try the Gillette Venus Silk, I was super excited! I didn't even realize a product like this existed and that regular people could purchase it. I'm hoping that it works well because I wear workout capri's for my fitness-related job and it would be amazing to not have to shave as often since I whip my legs out in public almost every day, no matter what the weather is like. My initial reaction was fear. How could this work so well and not hurt? No pain, no gain...right? Wrong! This was not painful at all. I did feel a little warmth, but nothing uncomfortable. It was easy to use but did take a little longer than I expected. I'm sure there is a slight learning curve and it will go quicker when I'm not as frightened of it. I'm looking forward to the next few weeks and hope this is the answer I was searching for and won't have to go to a pro.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little apprehensive about this product as the instructions provided were not so clear.I went ahead waxed my legs and underarms.I tried it on my legs first and didn't feel much pain.I t was easy to use but I couldn't use it much on my underarms as that hurt bad.I left it halfway.May be will give it a try again.I have used it twice on my legs first time didn't hurt at all but second time was a little painful as may be some hair was still there.I tried my best to cover each section on my legs.Would b completing my treatment on my legs first if it gives good results will move on to other parts.I hope it delivers what it promises.

Definitely a learning curve

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried a few spots on my leg, the pain was sharper than a rubber pain snap. It wasn't bad but there was a burning smell, more like new electronic device smell that needs to warm up. The few test patches I did, show some promise but I'm not sure. I tested a few more patches on another leg when I had recently shaved, those results are still pending. Overall, if this curbs hair growth well, definitely worth using on other parts to reduce hair growth.

INCREDIBLY Fast!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the older version of this and thought that was one amazing! ha. This one is SO super fast! I love how much quicker I'm able to finish my legs. The set comes with a smaller attachment too for smaller areas. The added razor was a nice touch too! You will definitely still need to shave for awhile. The hair becomes less and less! Keep in mind that you really need dark hair and light skin for it to have maximum effect. Fortunately (unfortunately? ha) I have the perfect combo! I love everything about this thing and I think it is super cost effective compared to paying a salon to do it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hair free!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Braun Silk Expert Pro 5 (PL5137) IPL hair remover system through the viewpoints sampling program to test out and review.
I have been using this product for a couple week now and I am already seeing results! Prior to using this product, my only hair removal experience has been shaving. I have light skin and dark hair so I was the ideal candidate for this type of product. It is a permanent hair removal system that uses a laser like technology.
I used according to the instructions, which I recommend reading prior to use! I used this on my armpits, legs, arms, bikini area, and my chin and upper lip. It was effective in all areas and the tool made it super easy to use even in hard to reach crevices. I didn't feel any pain while using this product.
I shave in between uses and have already noticed a dramatic difference in the amount of hair that grows back. With further use, I should be completely hair free permanently!
I was super skeptical that this type of product would work but I was thoroughly impressed with the results and would highly recommend this product! Its going to be amazing being hair free without the need to shave. I feel like this is an effective product at a fraction of the cost of salon hair removal. All it takes is a little bit of work.
I also really liked the frivolous color scheme of this product, gold and white in coloring and it really spoke to me!

Works better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about trying an at home product like this but it was actually very effective! I treated a small patch on my husbands back to test it out and so far no growth! I would suggest starting on the gentle! It gave us both a shock with the power when we first tried it. Also be sure to shave the hair in surrounding areas as well! It definitely will burn it off.
I would recommend this to a friend!
