I love it!!

I gave 4 stars based off this being my first time using the Gillette Venus Silk. I will upgrade to 5 stars once I can see the results. The Venus Silk was very easy to use. Just plug it and start using it (of course I needed to shave the area first). I was a little nervous about the pain, because I had laser hair removal at a professional in the past and it can be a little painful. Surprisingly, little to zero pain! There was a slight zap in sensitive areas, may a total of 5 times while doing my entire legs. The gliding mode is a great feature. I was able to do both full legs in under an half an hour. The tip on the Venus Silk is also larger than others, so it takes much less time to cover large areas. I am planning to use weekly on my legs. I am excited to see the results!

First Time was Easy

I just tried my Venus Silk Expert for the first time and it was super easy to use. I had had professional hair removal done on one area a few years back and it was painful so I was a little worried about being able to do this myself but it went super smooth (no pun intended!). The extra long cord allowed me to reach all areas (I did my arms, underarms and legs), and the actual device was so easy. Unless the head was in full contact with the skin, it didn't go off. Once I got the hang of it, as far as placing the head in the right spot with the right amount of pressure, it went quick. I used the "sensitive" switch this time around and you could feel the laser but it wasn't painful.

So far so Good

I finally gave it a try. I was very intimidated by the package and the whole setting up, scared to death about the whole "don't do this and don't do that"... I finally gave it a go on my leg, again I didn't knew what to expect and I have to say wasn't that bad! I will update in a couple weeks about results

I have done, plunking and waxing (ouch), laser hair removal ($$$), and electrolysis (time and $).
Gillette- Venus Silk-expert was quick and pain-free.

At first, I was skeptical about using this product. When you plug it in, a fan starts immediately. Then when I used it on my legs, going slowly and steady, it has lights on the side to indicate how well you have the product against your skin. It uses heat tp zap the hair follicle, but doesn't hurt or burn. I like the fact that after a few uses, my hair is becoming less noticeable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Gillette Venus Silk - is a great product. I was excited to be able to try it out- since the price of the actual product can be a little high. After using the product- I see its value. I had to go the nail spa waxing area less- so that saved money. The apparatus is a tad heavy, but I have small hands- and still made it work. My friend who owns a Make-Up studio in CLT and I Bzz'd to her about this product and she is looking into carrying it at her store front. So all in all- a successful experience.

AMAZING INVENTION!
