This device works wonder for me. I have used it on upper lips, arms and my armspits. Now, i only using it once a month because i only have few hair left. Please, make a device for spider veins removal .

This product helped reduce all those unwanted hairs! I'm so happy they chose me to try this product. It's allowed me to be more confident and not worry about those unwanted hairs!

Totally worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unwanted hair is every woman's first enemy and being an Asian I have black hair on fair skin which is very noticeable I started using Braun Silk Expert Pro 5 PL5137 IPL and started seeing results very quick in the first week itself the hair growth decreased and after 2 weeks or so I hardly shaved totally in love with it the design is very cute and handy coming to the usage to start with it stings (nothing compared to waxing though) but you get used to it so my recommendation is to start with slow setting and increase as you go and after few uses my pain is tolerable now I use it everywhere specially hands,legs and armpits.This Braun model is amazing compared to the expensive salon visits and professional treatments. I think the fact that it can be used at home and delivers the same kinda results for a fraction of price is awesome now I will be ready for the cute spring dresses and summer beaches totally recommend it

It works!

I have dark hair and medium Caucasian skin. Using it in mustache and chin area. Noticeably less hair in two months. Zap stings a little, but does not hurt. Quick - just use after night face wash. Surprised and happy.

TMI but continue reading if you have ingrown hairs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a reference I have medium colored brown hair that is naturally curly and fair colored skin. I have wanted to try the salon laser treatments but never could get past the cost for it!
I wasn’t sure how this machine would work for me especially considering a majority of the ingrown hairs I would get would tend to be curly hair trapped under the skin. I expected the IPL to just help limit how quickly the hair was growing but it exceeded my expectations by also limiting the amount of ingrown hairs I would develop. I have only been using the laser treatment for 2 weeks and I notice the hair that is regrowing is a lot finer and a lot more slow growing than it used to be. My bikini line for the first time I can ever remember is SMOOTH! As advised with the instructions I wouldn’t use this deviceh in any area that is inflamed at the time of treatment. I don’t notice much for pain at all anywhere it just feels a little warm to the skin.

Not working as expected over several months

I bought in March 2023. Used religiously for about 12 weeks. Seemed to work well at first with minimal discomfort. Hair started growing back in more and I started using again. It seems to be running very hot and makes a pretty good sting now. I had started with bikini area and armpits. My armpits never responded well. Bikini did at first but trying more now does not seem to be and it seems to be not functioning properly. I had such high hopes. I am pretty fair skin, dark hair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

> Check to make sure the epilator is fully charged (if rechargeable) or plugged in properly.
> Hold the epilator at a 90 degree angle as you epilate. This will help the tweezers grab the hair closer to the root.
> Pay attention to how much pressure you're applying. There's no need to apply a lot of pressure.
> Be careful not to epilate too fast. Allow the tweezers time to grab the hairs.
