Venus silk expert review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried out my new Venus silk expert today. Since it is summer and I need to shave every 2 days, I was excited to try this product out that promises to reduce hair growth. I found the instruction booklet included a bit confusing and would have preferred a simpler instruction booklet, but the buzz agent page for the product had instructions that were very easy. I was intimated to use it, so I started in gentle mode . So far it was super easy to use on my legs and only took a few minutes. Since it was so simple and pain free I definitely think I can keep it up to see results!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I love the product that I received from Braun for my honest opinion. The product worked great on my coarse, dark hair that I have as a result of PCOS. The product was sturdy and had a little weight to it, which made me feel more confident when I was using it. It is very easy to use and the cord is long enough to reach those areas that are typically harder to get to. I would have liked for it to have been more useful on my neck/face area, as well as the bikini area. If it has been more useful in those areas I would have given it the full 5 stars. I have seen some great results overall and cannot wait to see what the next 4 weeks has to offer. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to get rid of unwanted hair! Keep it up, Braun!

Easy to use and effective Home Laser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Gillette® Venus® Silk-expert to try by Braun.
At first I was skeptical of an at home laser. I did not need to worry at all with the Gillette® Venus® Silk-expert. The manual was easy to follow. I first removed the hair with my Gillette® Venus® razor. I then did my skin tone test. Since it is summer I decided to use it under my armpit which has dark hair against white skin. There was No pain and providing the treatment was easy. It took less than 10 min to apply to both of arms. The proof is in the picture below. While I still have some hair growth it is minor. The hair is lighter and thinner. It is a much improved state and I know within a few months I will have little to no visible hair.

Excellent at hair removal!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this product! I had gone to laser hair removal treatments about 6 years ago. Those treatments were expensive, and they hurt my skin.
I'm seeing results with Braun's Venus Silk-expert, that is similar to my professional laser hair removal results.
It's so exciting that Braun has made an affective laser hair removal methods, that is less expensive and less painful than it's rivals.
I use this product once a week on my arm, both legs, both arms pits, and my chin area. I'm only doing one arm with the Braun Silk-expert, so that I can continue to compare my results to the arm that I am not treating.
When I went to the professional laser hair appointments, my skin was always very red after being treated. I've had no issues with irritation with the Venus Silk-expert!
So far I'm seeing great results and I'm so pleased!

So nervous about the Silk expert but turned out okay!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so nervous to use the Silk expert because I had no idea what to expect as far as pain. It was easy to set up though and directions were simple enough to follow. I shaved, took a deep breath, and turned it on. I tried it on my legs first because I figured that was a less sensitive area than arm pits, bikini area, etc. There was a little sting at first but then it felt fine. It was super easy to use. I am glad I started with my legs and it was easy to get the full surface area. Just have to set some time aside for it. Worth it in the long run I'm hoping. I've only used it for 3 weeks but so far I'm noticing a little less hair on my legs. I think I'm going to finish out my legs before moving to my arm pits just because of the time.

Venus silk expert results after 4 weeks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying the Venus silk expert for 4 weeks I am impressed with the differance I can see in the hair growth.It has become less dark and much thinner.It does work really well if you have the time to use it as instructed.The cons I have discovered are first a lack of a on/off switch.It would be much easier to use if it was either rechargable cordless or atleast had a on/off switch instead of just plug in to use and be limited to where you can use it.The only other draw back I can say is the burning sensation when you first use it but there is no lasting affect it is just the burn as the laser is working without a lasting affect.All in all very happy with it and I am certain I will be using it for many years to come.

So easy to use!

I noticed a reduction in hair growth after the first treatment and every week it continues to decrease. I can't wait to see the end result after the full 12 weeks of use.

Skeptical but surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Gillette® Venus® Silk-expert powered by Braun® is an excellent want to remove unwanted hair. At first I was skeptical and did not think that it was doing anything. My first 2 times using it I will say weren't the most comfortable. There is definitely a sting associated with the light when it zaps your hairs. After the second go with it I knew what to expect and it wasn't so bad. The negative things I have to say about this is that it is a bit time consuming and there is no way to see which areas you have already gone over. But back to the good. Being a busy mom I don't always shave my legs until they are SUPER hairy. Well, this past time I noticed a full strip of my leg that had no hair!!!! I guess I have treated that area a little more than the rest of my leg but it definitely made me realize that the Gillette® Venus® Silk-expert powered by Braun® really does work!! I received this product free from Braun in exchange for my full and honest review.
