A bit painful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Gillette Venus silk expert for free from Braun in exchange for my honest review. The regular setting was a bit painful for me so I used the sensitive setting for all my treatments. The machine itself was a bit tough to position on some portions of my leg and because I was doing my leg in patches, I sometimes felt like I was missing some parts of my leg. Finally, I did not see a noticeable difference between pre and post treatments. I don't have a lot of hair on my legs to begin with, so that may be a reason why I didn't see a noticeable difference.

Right out of the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so skeptical when this came in my inbox as an item to try. I thought I would give it the good ol' college try though and the benefit of the doubt. When it arrived, I was shocked to see that you don't need to wear goggles when using the machine! How cool is that! I have another home machine that tells you to close your eyes WHILE wearing the "suntan" goggles and turn your head to ensure the upmost safety for your eyes. Scary thing to close your eyes when using a laser on your body! Not to mention, losing your place of where you just zapped!
I was thrilled that it also received such high marks from those who had already used it. Not too shabby for a home unit! I haven't given it five stars because I still am unaware of the longevity of the hair removal. I have seen the hair reappear, so after many uses, I'm hoping that will decrease to almost nothing. I say almost because I am realistic. This is a home unit, not a professional unit. I am not expecting miracles from something that is this safe! Ha!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I just starting using this product and had high hopes but realistic expectations. I was concerned it would not be effective and would be difficult to use.
I usually shave my legs every day, I hate hair. This product quickly gave me visible results. It was super easy to use and within 2 uses I could tell a difference. It took longer for the hair to grow back and it was much much lighter which was fantastic. I cannot wait to continue usage and see the long term results!

Works great and easy to use and travel with

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comes with a nice carrying case so it makes it easy to travel with if needed. Easy to understand and use. I used this product on my husband to test it out before I tried it on myself and it works great! It was pain free, quick process, and left my legs silky smooth!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just started using this hair remove system, starting on my lower legs/ankle areas to get a start. I am very light skinned blonde, but i have darker leg hairs. So far I am enjoying using the system- the product is very nice and instructions are super easy to follow. After two weeks, I havent seen progress yet but excited to continue through the process!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I started using this device, my hair growth in the regions where it is thinner has slowed down dramatically. The laser hair removal device is simple to use and operate. Using it hasn't caused me any irritation.
Oh, and I adore the storage case that was included! An absolute necessity for anyone looking for an effective solution to slow hair growth!

I really want to try this out, but I'm just not sure if it'll work on me. I'm mixed with black and white and have a light skin tone. I was wondering if anyone knew of someplace I could get a trial. I absolutely hate hair anywhere except my head!
