Time Consuming

I thought this product has great feature

This was my first and bad experience i never use on my face nothing im cosmetologist to I believe on this laser machine but it doesn't work it worse I reaDon't like it I try on my face I have really thin hair before but when I use this it came dark and long hair it was my mistake I believe too much and I try on my cousin they has same problem I was thinking it was me only but they have same situation I bought this on April I really don't like it please don't buy

Game changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an African American make with a light to medium skin tone and reddish/brown hair.. Its hard to find an electric razor that cuts close and doesn't break me out. I have sensitive skin so almost everything does. I normally use soap and water and a 4 or 5 blade manual razor. This razor has changed everything for me. I don't need to use water but if I choose to - I CAN! It cuts super close. No break outs. Charges quick and the charge lasts me a while, even though I shave almost every day. It doesn't irritate me at all. It's quiet. Has a travel pouch and it's own cleaner. Super easy to use. I couldn't ask for anything better quite honestly.. If you haven't tried this already - you need to!

A bit painful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Gillette Venus silk expert for free from Braun in exchange for my honest review. The regular setting was a bit painful for me so I used the sensitive setting for all my treatments. The machine itself was a bit tough to position on some portions of my leg and because I was doing my leg in patches, I sometimes felt like I was missing some parts of my leg. Finally, I did not see a noticeable difference between pre and post treatments. I don't have a lot of hair on my legs to begin with, so that may be a reason why I didn't see a noticeable difference.

Stopped Working After One Year

It was working very well, but after a year it stopped working. The light is not flashing anymore, and the machine smells like it’s burned. I thought I could use it for at least two years. The website suggested holding down the button to fix the issue for people with the same problem, but nothing I tried worked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Right out of the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so skeptical when this came in my inbox as an item to try. I thought I would give it the good ol' college try though and the benefit of the doubt. When it arrived, I was shocked to see that you don't need to wear goggles when using the machine! How cool is that! I have another home machine that tells you to close your eyes WHILE wearing the "suntan" goggles and turn your head to ensure the upmost safety for your eyes. Scary thing to close your eyes when using a laser on your body! Not to mention, losing your place of where you just zapped!
I was thrilled that it also received such high marks from those who had already used it. Not too shabby for a home unit! I haven't given it five stars because I still am unaware of the longevity of the hair removal. I have seen the hair reappear, so after many uses, I'm hoping that will decrease to almost nothing. I say almost because I am realistic. This is a home unit, not a professional unit. I am not expecting miracles from something that is this safe! Ha!
