It works!

I was skeptical, but it works! I use it consistently every week. I did go beyond just using it a few months, but the 10 minutes it takes is worth it for maintenance. I used to shave my armpits every single day, but now I shave once a week (or less). I used to get waxed monthly, and I haven’t had to go back since I started using this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was always nervous to try at home hair removal. Now I wish I hadn't waited so long. This is amazing! So far the hair on my legs has not grown back. This is definitely easier than shaving every day. I will definitely not go back to daily shaving!

Great alternative to shaving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant to try a hair removal system besides shaving, but I am super impressed with the Braun Silk Expert Pro 5! It doesn't hurt and I have seen a decrease in hair growth since using it. So far, I've only tried using it on my legs, but I'm very please with the results. I highly recommend giving this a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being half Italian, I am pretty hairy. I usually don't mind but in the summer I get sick and tired of shaving as it's monotonous and annoying. This is a perfect alternative to expensive waxing or even more expensive laser treatments! It's easy to use and not uncomfortable at all! You see results in less than a month and have a couple different modes to choose from. It only takes 5 minutes to use on both legs!

Great Hair Removal

Upon unpacking, I was able tell Braun took great care in curating this product. It comes with a gorgeous carrying case and there are spots for each piece or the device.
First I tried a test spot on my arm. I made sure to shave it first and allow it to dry thoroughly. I used a smaller tip for this test area and it was pain free.
Since I didn’t notice any negative affects on my test area, I decided to test it out on my legs the next day. After showering and drying, I used the wider tip so that I could glide it on my legs for a quicker process. If you hold the button down, instead of pulsing, it’ll allow the treatment to continue until you let go of the button which makes treating larger areas easier. Again, this was pain free.
I am a mixed race female with a more olive skin tone and the reader for tone will let me know if the area I’m about to treat is acceptable since dark skin isn’t compatible with this system.
I’ll continue to use this system weekly until I no longer have hair growth.

It’s intimidating at first, but impressed

The first click scared me because I wasn’t expecting such a bright flash to come out of the want. There was no discomfort during and after use. I am impressed at how easy it is to use. Can’t wait for the long run results.

Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been having professional laser hair removal treatments over the last few years on my face and have been happy with the results. I have wanted to do some other areas, but haven’t because of the cost. The Braun Silk-Expert Pro 5 IPL has given me the opportunity to try at home treatments to see if I get the same results for a much lower cost. I have fair skin and dark hair follicles. I’m treating the hair on my legs currently. The unit is lightweight and easy to hold. You simply place it against your skin and press the button, then move onto the next area and do the same. It feels like the snap of a rubberband depending on which intensity you are using, but is not painful. I have found that you can treat a large area pretty quickly. I haven’t owned long enough to speak to long-term results because laser hair removal takes multiple treatments over a period of months, but I have definitely noticed the hair coming back finer. I’m excited to see if I can get rid of the hair permanently!
