It really works

I got my Pro IPL a month ago and the results I'm having are wonderful. Even my skeptical husband is surprised. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is because instructions are not really detailed. Specially the cleaning and maintenance part. The head of my product is getting black spots and instructions just say "clean right" away but don't explain how and I haven't been able to remove them. And each time I use it it gets more and more and can't do much . I'm worried the performance is going to go bad after a while

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd IPL device, but my first of this particular brand. I really like the storing and carrying case on this one with a place for all of the different sized caps. It is painless, easy, and convenient. With continued, regular use, is has been very successful at eliminating unwanted body hair. I have not, however, found that they have taken care of stubborn facial hair... which is the main reason I keep trying new ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted to buy one of these. I used to work at a laser hair removal clinic and got a few treatments done while working there. So I know what it should feel like and how it should work.
I have done my legs and armpits around 5x since receiving this item. Leg hair has defined slowed down as far as growing back it's very much still there though. It takes about a week for me to feel hairs when it used to be about 3-4 days. It does have a slight pain factor but based on how high you put the device. For legs I started at 1 for a few weeks then went to 5 and now I do 10 and it's tolerable in that area. Hands down I would recommend this

Really working

I am a several weeks into using and I have to say I already see results!!! I am a bit tan but it's fading and my hair is really dark I am guessing it will work better as my tan fades! Below my belly button is clear and under my chin is much less hair! My thighs are smooth and with a few more weeks use I am hoping my lower legs are hair free!!!

Does not work on brown skin!

Does not work on brown skin! This product is advertised to work on medium skintone‘s, but does not. I am not dark skinned and the product did not work at all. The color chart on the box has skin colors that do not exist, which makes it difficult to make the right decision before purchasing. To send it back you have to pay for expedited shipping, and then they take up to eight weeks to send your money back on a prepaid debit card in the mail. Terrible experience!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gets too hot after a few minutes of using it

I bought it 3 months ago and it din't work for me. I have light skin with dark hair but no results and it gets too hot after 3 minutes of using and it burns the skin

Should have done this sooner

I have light skin and dark, coarse hair that I've always been self- conscious about. I was to the point that I had to epilate so that shaving was effective because the hair on my legs was so dense. I'm on my third treatment on my legs and most of it has stopped growing. This machine has so many safety mechanisms that I don't worry that I'm going to burn my skin. It doesn't hurt (especially if you've endured epilation or waxing) and I've experienced NO post treatment irritation or ingrown hairs (again, unlike I do with epilation or waxing). If you're considering a purchase, do it. Your only regret will be not doing it sooner!
