Awesome Unit // Super Cool in a Large Space

This AC is heavy duty and easily cools our home studio, which is 512 square feet. It was easy to install for my 10 year old son. And the remote is a handy feature too. Although it does make noise, it is quieter than I thought it would be. Highly recommend!

I live in Central Texas, where the summers are very hot and humid. My house is not insulated well. My Central ac runs non stop, causing my utility bill to be very high. Decided to buy this product to see what it could do. It keeps my living room and kitchen cool. I'm happy that I bought this product and will recommend it to you.

So happy with this portable A/C unit. Our room gets the afternoon sun and with this portable A/C, within minutes of turning it on, our room is cooled down almost instantly! We don't need to turn the whole house A/C just to cool our room. It's super powerful, iced the room down quickly, and it's on wheels so we can move it from one room to another in no time! Highly recommend this!

How New Air A/C works in Michigan

I have this installed in the den where there is a horizontal sliding window, but the only room that works for me. However, I purchased a cheap box fan at Menards and that sits in the middle of the room where this A/C is and it blows the cold air out of the AC into the rest of my condo. I can easily cool 6 rooms this way. I set the timer for 1 hour late morning and another time mid-afternoon, and maybe right before bed. That's it! I don't run this all day and not at all during the night. It is not as convenient as central in that I have to manually turn it on and set the timer, but I have more control over how often it runs and how long it runs than I do with central A/C. My electric bill reflects this limited usage. Recently I went away for 3 days, when I returned this place was still 68 degrees with temperatures outside in the 80's. I have people living around me which helps insulate my condo, and I am on a bottom floor which is cooler. It stays at 67/68 degrees which is very comfortable. The outside air cools down at night, so no need to run it at night. This unit was under $600.00 and central air would have cost me $2800.00 to replace. For me, it is a no-brainier and huge savings. It is hardly noticeable outside of the building for aesthetics.

We have been researching for the right product to keep our garage cool and we are so happy with this portable ac model #NAC14KWH02. I love that it has a remote control and wheels to easily move around. It keeps our garage cool making workouts that much easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure how long it should take to cool off a room. I have a 350 sq ft room. It cools it to about 71 degrees. I would like it to be cooler. I have room darkening curtains I thought the unit was 13,000 btu the previous one I had was 10,000 however now I see something says 10,000 doe which I'm clueless on. I guess I need a 20000 real btu to get the cool I'd like.
